After the Affectionate Second Male Lead Reincarnated

I don't even know how to describe this. This IS NOT A ROMANCE NOVEL. It's like... a snapshot of FL's lowest part in a romance novel with NONE of the romance in the printed story. Bloop.
She was clearly given a task to be in this system/world... was there for TWENTY YEARS. Realizes the guy she fell for that she thought at least had some affection for her too ... did not. At all.
And once she gave up he [of course] was like "oh damn I love her." But it was too late. And you know what? I don't hate that at all.

GO BITCH KNOW YOUR OWN WORTH! QUEEN! LOL Literally she was the empress.
So many missing details but dunno if this was one of those "each 'chapter' can only be 2000 words" types.

I'd read more - I wanted to know who she ended up with! Also this was the story where I felt the title was the biggest lie like ... dude.
Interesting it seemed both FL and her "in the simulation" husband transmigrated.

I like that she finished it, got to live her her whatever modern life, found a dude, but NONE OF IT IS ON PAGE. T_T

... I dunno, C--?

Damn uh so the title is a lie
😅 this is more a tragic snapshot that doesn’t let you see any of the sweetness of/for FL, other than her loving brother (seems… did he know she wasn’t his sister? 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Alternate Title: After the Affectionate Second Male Lead Reincarnated

I wasn't able to enjoy the angst much because it jumped right into the climax of the story. There was barely any buildup of her feelings towards Pei Du, so I couldn't appreciate her indifference toward him. What made this story even less admirable is that her transmigration is somehow a mission orchestrated by the team behind the novel to give the characters a better ending? It wasn't even a system-based transmigration plot, which I am not a fan of, but she was sent there just to relieve the characters from a bitter end? This was a wasted plotline and I fell for the high votes it garnered on another site.

What this book did prove is that the original characters these transmigrators possess wouldn't have ever received the same love if they weren't possessed. Zhuang Qing even admits that the real Jiang Luo Yu wouldn't have ever achieved the things she did because she wasn't equipped with the same knowledge that she has. Even so, it really gets me thinking... how utterly unfair a fate like that could be?

Anyhow, this story tried so hard to be different, but it ended up being bland.

After the Affectionate Second Male Lead Reincarnated

(English Translated Title)

3.5 ⭐

What a complex ending!

It was satisfying but I still kinda feel complicated about it!

Pei Du failed to realize the actual soul beneath Jiang Luo Yu's body and in turn, lost his true love. But I guess, if you can't even distinguish between a mere persona from previous life and your own wife who is wholeheartedly good to you, then it's on you. He led a tragic life afterwards but it was all his fault. So can't blame anyone else.

I loved Zhuang Qing, the FL, and Song Yan Yu, the OG FL's bond though.

I love how decisive FL is and doesn’t let emotions get in her way to complete the mission.

ML was reborn. He knew FL is a Villainess so he married her to stop her "supposed" schemes against his white moonlight (OGFL)

I'm so glad FL didn't end up with him. So moved on in her own world after completing mission. The ML sees her living her life without regrets after his death.
