In the testosterone driven world of the professional kitchen, Mae Whitten keeps her balance and her sanity by steering clear of romantic involvements. Her private life is kept on a low simmer until she meets the man who ramps all her burners up to full flame and turns her saucepan upside down. Tasting a delicious stranger turns out to be a more than complicated main course.
Surprisingly, this was a good book. More than once I was disgusted by the main heroines tendency to over react and get hysterical about ridiculous things...but get past that unneeded drama and it was a good book.
I guess I would read the first book in this series (it was better) before I read this one but it wasn't that bad...
I want to give this a higher rating but I just can't. The angst over stupid things just annoyed the hell out of me.
