I read this to my five year old son. He loved it. It was a Christmas present for him from a loved one. So random but so glad we came across such a series! We read one chapter a night, every second night. He was engaged throughout each reading session and it was easy for him to follow the storyline and participate in discussion about it with me. I’ll need to hunt down some other books in the series for him to enjoy!
