His Wedding by Muriel Jensen is the fourth in the Abbotts series from Harlequin American Romance. Janet Abbott, who was born Abigail Abbott, has been reunited with her family after over twenty years. Kidnapped as a toddler and raised in a loving home, she never knew about her past. Brian Girard is a neighbor and friend of the Abbotts, and is sensitive to response his family name always raises in the public eye because unlike the beloved Abbotts, his father was a hateful person who seemed to wreak ill wherever he went.
Muriel Jensen does a lovely job with this very family-oriented romance. Janet, or Janby as her long-lost family has now dubbed her, knows her own mind, and she's determined not only to find the answers behind her kidnapping so she can lay her family's fears and sorrows to rest but also to convince Brian that he's the man of her dreams.
She manages both charmingly.
While this is the last in Ms Jensen's series, it stands well enough alone, as I enjoyed it without having read the prior stories about Janet's brothers.
