USA Today and NY Times bestselling author Candice Gilmer leads a dangerous double life as a mommy and a writer. In between boo-boo healing and fixing broken toys, she writes stories usually to the tune of children's television shows.

Growing up in the Midwest, Candice stays close to her family, especially the ones with basements when the tornadoes come around.

All in all, she stays very busy, but really, she wouldn't have it any other way.

Well, maybe a little less children's television.

IDA Strikes Again!
They are both there for work, Jenny as a human bioengineer and Karuk as a construction worker. They meet through Mr. F, Jenny’s cat. As a cat lover, I enjoyed his role in this book – it made me laugh out loud! As a test for the IDA’s mating program both their DNA is scanned and surprisingly for all parties they match. In their trial of 30 days they get to know each other better and are confronted with both their pasts. Lovely story, even with the bad parts they have to deal with. Recommended.

This was another fun read by this author and I love how Jenny and Karuk, both working on The Bridge as an escape from their pasts, find connection and friendship together. Little did they know that a scan would set them up on the IDA system ;P These two were shocked to be paired up and I love how they communicated about their pasts to try and build a future together. With some betrayal, drama, action, twists and steam, this was a one-sit read for me to see how they'd get their HEA. Definitely entertaining and a fab addition to the series :D

It was okay, not very spicy, and the assassination plot thing reminded me of another series in the IDA, but the aliens were different. It was almost like this was just a way to introduce this group of aliens. It is nice that the stories are going away from the women being abducted.
