Lucy Holliday’s had a long day—a full day at the Eastport Women’s Medical Group and two deliveries at Eastport General Hospital—and it’s still not over. Being an ob-gyn on call is sure to mean she’ll be back at the hospital before the night is over. All she wants is to get her grocery shopping done and get home to see her daughter for a while before the inevitable happens.

Keaton Thatcher is all set to open his new home goods store front. One quick trip to the storeroom for a ladder so he can change a lightbulb, and he can head home and relax after a long day at work. Except the sound of crying in his storeroom leads him to the back corner of the room where he finds a very pregnant young girl about to give birth.

Will Dr. Holliday deliver a Christmas miracle, or will the delivery in Keaton’s storeroom bring a miracle into his and Lucy’s lives?

Dr. Lucy Holliday is an OB/GYN doctor who is on call one night when she gets a crazy call. Keaton is the man who calls her when he finds a 14 year old girl trying to have a baby in his new store, and that little girl refuses anything to do with an ambulance. They end up delivering her baby together, and it starts them on a new journey with each other. The both of them have a divorce under their belt, and for Lucy, she really hasn't been interested in any man for a cool minute. I LOVED these two together so much as they just fit. They both have a daughter each, and when those daughters interact, it fills my heart up completely. Doctor Holliday was a super sweet story filled with Christmas magic that I couldn't get enough of so definitely read this happy story! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Lucy and Keaton have an interesting meet-cute where they both cooperate to create a “Christmas miracle”. From that one encounter, it turns into dates and more.

As their relationship becomes serious, I loved how their families started to merge. Both Lucy and Keaton have daughters whom eventually bond as well. Those scenes were so sweet and were the best prelude ever to the ending.

This is a quick read at just 100+ pages and it is both a sweet and spicy read. On a more serious note though, the miracle has a pretty sad backstory, so do check out the blurb if it is something you are not comfortable with.

The characters in this book were in their mid-life phase (35-45), so the relationship wasn't all instant attraction without substance. I early appreciated the time that was spent and exploration of the characters it entailed. While their initial meeting was under rather unique circumstances, it was certainly a Bonding experience. Keaton really saw Lori, saw who she was and what she did. Likewise, Lori was able to appreciate Keaton for who he was, not simply a surface attraction. The involvement of their respective children made the book well rounded and a great holiday romance.

Doctor Holliday is a short, sweet, and spicy, mid-life, friends to lovers, Christmas romance. Dr. Lucy Holliday is an OB/GYN. Keaton is a hunky store owner. Both are divorced with daughters. When she gets a call from Keaton one night about a 14 year old girl ready to have a baby in his storeroom, she rushes over. The two end up forming a friendship and eventually more. Their daughters also connect, and it was sweet seeing the families come together. The couple had great chemistry, and we ended on a happy note. This was a great, feel-good Christmas romance.

Can a Christmas miracle bring two people together? This book starts off with just that a Christmas miracle. Dr Holliday is on call for the hospital to be there to delivery those amazing babies. But out of the blue she gets a call from someone she never expected to help him with a small crisis in his storeroom. She does just that. Delivers a Christmas miracle with his help. That leads to them talking, dating and you guessed it falling in love. But will it be happy ever after for these two?
This was a very sweet quick romance. I enjoyed reading about Dr. Holliday and Keaton.

When Keaton found a young girl in his storeroom about to have baby and she did not want help he calls Lucy who is a OB-GYN and he knew of her through his ex wife to come help. They worked together to deliver the baby and realized they were attracted to each other so within a few weeks they went out on a date. This is the beginning for their relationship but there is much more fun and romance in the remainder of the book.

This is a short and sweet romance set in december. I liked reading it but it was almost too smooth for me. The beginning of the book is dramatic as there is a young girl giving birth in the MMC's storeroom but after that we read about a perfect lovestory without any conflicts or obstacles to overcome. A short feel-good romance.

Even given the circumstances the pair are attracted to each other. Both are divorced with daughters, and have not had any real relationships since their marriage. Is this the start of something special?.

A surprise delivery

Doctor Holliday by Tracy Broemmer is part of the multi-author Doctors of Eastport General series. I have always enjoyed reading books by this author so I was looking forward to this book also. The author did not disappoint as the story is about single mother and doctor Lucy Holliday and store owner Keaton Thatcher. They come together when he finds a pregnant teenager about to give birth and she is the only one who can help the girl through it.

A pregnant fourteen year old girl, a storage room, a surprise delivery have Lucy and Keaton finding a relationship like no other. Keaton owns Thatcher Home Goods in a strip mall. Dr. Lucy Holliday is a ob-gyn doctor. I absolutely loved the characters and storyline and couldn't put the book down until I finished it.

Doctor Lucy Holliday receives a call late bringing her into a surprising situation but what's more surprising is the amazing man Keaton Thatcher. I love these characters so very much. This series is just inviting and I can't turn the pages faster. Highly Recommended!!!

Lucy and Keaton bond over her delivering a young teen’s baby in his stock room and they start a relationship soon after. She worries about how their daughters will feel about it, but even his ex wife whom he argues with seems fine with it. Ruby and Callie were a riot and bond too. Lucy and Keaton’s relationship escalates quickly in this steamy second chance romance.

This is an entertaining doctor romance book that holds your attention from the beginning all the way to the end. The storyline is intriguing as the elements unfold. The characters are well written with steamy chemistry together. I enjoyed this book.

Really enjoyed the dynamic between the two characters. They are from two different worlds and they managed to collide with the help of a teenage girl. Like the setting and the premise of the story. Great characters to follow along s a h battle their own issues and feelings. Good read.

This story is one of those feel good reads that you can get comfy and enjoy from start to finish. Lucy and Keaton clicked when they me. The sweetness of their growing connection, getting to know each other and navigating that they are both single parents kept the flow going well. The story has sweet, heat, and more in this quick lovable read!
