This book was a lot darker then the previous one, but it also held so much more emotions.
From the first page you are thrown into the story, it pics up right after the ending of book one. Rexah is such a strong character, even if she doesn't see it.
They all went trough so much, my heart aches for them. I even can't believe the ending. I was like 'why would you do that?'
This story was again well written. It was original and I can't wait to find more about the witches of the night, they are so mysterious. Also that plottwist, I never had any suspicion!
Last but not least I want to thank the author for providing me with an earc
The book is darker than the first as things progress for Rexah but it’s brilliant. Allie has a way of drawing you in and making you root for Rexah and I can’t wait for the next book!

Fae, Monsters, Epic Rescue Missions, A Tight-knit Group of Friends, A Hunt for a Magical Sword, and A Bit of Spice...say no more you have to read Sword of Shadow and Star.
The perfect follow up to Heir Of Ravens And Ruin. Sword Of Shadow And Star has just the right amount spice action and darkness to keep you coming back for more. I felt myself being drawn into the very world created by the author. Once I picked it up I didn't put it down until I it was finished. A perfect read that left me craving more and not so patiently waiting the next installment.
I had the best time writing this book. It delved into the darker side of Etteria which I LOVED to write. I was heavily pregnant when I finished the final draft and final readthrough and to now see it out in the world is just amazing!
It won't be long until the 3rd and final book is available so you won't have to wait for too long to find out what happens next!
Thank you so much to everyone who has picked up a copy of both books in the Ravenheart series! It means so much to me and as a little indie author your support is greatly appreciated :)
Fave Quote: We will win this war for those we love, for those we’ve lost, and for the heirs to come
This book did not go how I was expecting it to go. It felt like it was split into 2 halves, when I thought the adventures would happen simultaneously, but that's what made it exciting; I didn't know where the characters would go next. I loved seeing Rexah's magical capabilities grow. I like Rexah because she's very headstrong, but we also get to see quite a lot of her vulnerability. I appreciated the calmer ending compared to book 1. I'm getting suspicious about upcoming betrayals though 👀
