From Frank Cho, the award-winning creator of Liberty Meadows and Zombie King, comes Frank Cho Women: Selected Drawings and Illustrations. This 112-page collection will showcase Cho's past and present illustrations and you will see why he's considered one of the top modern masters of the female form.
The second of three children, Frank Cho was born in Seoul, Korea in 1971, but moved to the United States at the age of six and was raised in Beltsville, Maryland.
Cho received no formal training as an artist. He got his start writing and drawing a cartoon strip called University2 for The Diamondback, the student newspaper at the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduation, Cho adapted elements of this work for use in a professionally syndicated strip, Liberty Meadows.
This was wonderful, it was a collection of B&W illustrations and drawings by Frank Cho and you can see exactly how a model is drawn in the final form by the different drawings covering the phases. The pencil work in the last part was just gorgeous while the previous parts were funny and wonderfully done. This would be only about 2nd or third book I have read which didn't have words and it's the longest one of that sorts so far but it was a great experience.
I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to the bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.
Can I really say I read this when there are no words? Of course, if "a picture is worth a thousand words", then this is one of the longest books I've read in a while!
Frank Cho is amazing. His drawings are funny, sexy and beautiful as all hell. I love his line work.
frank cho is pervert, he'll be the first to admit it, but he's so talented and the women are gorgeous even if they are a bit uhm ...enormously breasted but other than that they are not over the top muscular or skinny. the pencil work in the back is amazing
