I picked this up in a rummage bin for a quarter, and didn't think I would keep it. But I find that I have thumbed through it several times. The writing is stiff, but I just look at the photos anyway. Good for generating ideas. I like that is arranged by color, and further by season.

Some really good ideas in here for colour combinations

Some of the pictures aren't very clear, seem a bit faded, in other words the pictures of the flowers doesn't always illustrate the colour they are in reality

Cute little book that groups plants by color. Not tremendously useful, but pleasant to flip through. Helpful if you suddenly have a burning desire to find a plant-any plant-that blooms in that shade of apricot-rose you like so much.....

picked up in England at The National Trust store. If ever you want to plan your garden around specific colours this is the book for you. Breaks everything down by shades and has a wonderful container section in the back.
