After witnessing a murder, I had to hide. No one would suspect a fashion model to hide out in the stalls.
Ford’s rural ranch was my best option. It’s almost easy to forget the danger I’m in.
Especially with a real man like Ford always around… A girl could get used to this protection.
This cowboy is starting to rope me in. And more than willing to let him… But my life is on the line and his heart is on lockdown.
Will he ever truly let me in?
I’m willing to risk it all for him. Because I think I’ve found something on this ranch I wasn’t even looking for…
Love.
Read on a witness protection romance where the big city girl has to learn about farm life. This grumpy cowboy may be fine but he’s also grumpy – in a hot way. It will take a miracle to break down his walls… Or maybe just a hot fashion model he can’t help but save.
Cowboy's Got Rizz: A Small Town BWWM Romance by Aliyah Cox & Tyla Walker is an interesting story about Claire, who is a runway model who at a party witnesses a murder. When she is put into the witness protection program, she finds herself at Ford's ranch. Even though he is a former FBI agent, he has his own demons, and babysitting a pampered runway model is something he isn't looking forward to. However, since he is serious about his once job, he will do his best to protect her. I loved the emotions and tension between Ford and Claire. The way the authors wrote their story was beautiful. I enjoyed their journey so much. The story regarding what transpired with the guy who she witnessed committing the murder was something else. That story definitely could have been a lot tighter. Regardless of that fact, I really enjoyed the journey of Claire and Ford discovering what they initially thought of each other was so much farther from the truth. They thought about each other. And then to see their feelings for each other blossom and grow. A truly enjoyable journey. 4 stars for me.
Not my fav. The story concept was decent but the execution was rather poor. It was baffling from the start. I don’t understand how Claire was just being very brainless and cared about looking good when she’s in HIDING???? Literally no one is going to see you! Then she proceeded to just be rude and disrespectful to Ford after he’s agreed to let you stay with him.
Fast forward, Ford and Claire learnt on coexist and suddenly start developing “feelings” for each other but Ford has reservations because of his past. It annoyed me that after Ford cussed out Claire and had reservations about being with her, he dropped her off into the arms of people who were after her to kill her. It immediately clicked that he loved her after she expressed her undying love for him??
It annoyed me there were no timestamps but it was clear there were jumps from the engagement, to marriage and having a baby.
This has been a pure treat to have read from two of my favorite authors. It’s a wonderful way to start a weekend.
The chemistry between Claire and Ford is truly amazing and heartwarming. Even those chickens were good…
It’s just a simple and very satisfying story. Looking towards a great new collaboration.

This is the story of Claire and Ford. They meet when Ford is unwillingly involved in an FBI case and is not at all happy about having to protect Claire. The more he spends time with her, he sees a different side of her and has to admit that she is different than he thought. The chemistry and attraction is palpable and he does everything he can to protect her and keep her safe. A page turner and highly recommended!

I Love this story! It was so good from beginning to end. Shallow model,Grumpy ex-FBI agent on a ranch, what could go wrong? A lot!! I had a couple of issues with the story though (no biggie,it doesn’t change my opinion about the story) one point bad guy is holding a gun, then next it’s a knife. The villain suggested that it wasn’t over when he died.Needed closure from that! Still loved the Story.
The authors took time to tell a story love both of these writers but as a double team truly enjoyed the story my favorite was the chicken’s and duck attack!
