The title of this book is ‘Free Me From You’, but does Free really want to be freed from June? The two of them have history. This story definitely got better in comparison to the last installment. It’s 4 stars because the story is good the drama is good the sex it’s EXPLOSIVE. I can see the growth in certain characters and it’s done in a believable and timely manner. Now where the stars come off is cus the actions, attitudes and decisions of our two stars Free &June are INSUFFERABLE. Like it’s multiple point in the book where you just want to scream. Like idk being that they are supposed to be the older siblings all this back and forth, yelling and fighting is annoying. Like I’m okay with reading a lil toxic nonsense but in every book it’s the same thing. Like yes they FINALLY decided to stop tryna play it cool and become a couple but WHY did it take a big blow up, why did it take pooch pressing your buttons, like what is mentally wrong with June that he can’t process his feelings. Like you shouldn’t have to pipe the whole city to realize you want the baddest one in front of you to be yours. Free was a bird too because why can’t you communicate sensibly. Like it really stood out and made me reevaluate the dialogue with the whole Tru and tommie situation. When Tru said her mom was always talking to her crazy and I’m like yeah they all got an issue with going from 1-294749 in 4 seconds. Like I get some of it was cus Free was pregnant but in the chapters before that what was the reason she was wilding like you In a high stress situation you ain’t speak to ya man all day and when he don’t answer how you like you get to spazing like GIRL PLEASE. Overall this book is dead a page turner and takes you on a ride but I do hope it’s finished in 3 books and we get them into therapy cus whew yeah. I’d also like to say it’s weird what happens in the last scene cus free you this Gat toting pistol slanging bad girl yet the wife approaches your sister and you don’t think to be on guard like you noticing all these issues ANDDD STILL SIT THERE . Like cmon now. I also am perplexed by the whole Ricky storyline, like your father is an OG, your cousin is a crash out yet tommie and tru basically left to fend for themselves. Like huh I’m glad sis had that thang on her but she should’ve got in the car blasting cus ain’t nothing left to talk about with a man who wanna sell you. So here’s hoping she did him in and not the other way around

Different
Hmm…this is different for Diamond. I never felt the never to DNF any of her books. Her writing is always different from other urban fiction. But if I I had to hear about how fine any of the women were again I probably would’ve DNF’d. I think it was mentioned 3/4 times that Deshay had surgery on her body but you couldn’t tell because her body was banging. It was mentioned too many times how out of this world find Free was and I just think we got it after one time. It doesn’t need to be shoved down our throats how the characters look. Dionne got what she deserved. She was unapologetic and I hope the wife doesn’t spend a day in jail. Tommie gotta be stupid to continue letting Tru out of her sight. I was shocked with how she kept her get the same freedom knowing Ricky threatened Tru’s life. So it’s why I said this not the Diamond who wrote about strong smart women. Yes they were strong but Tommie, Dionne, and Tru were dumb as hell. Granted Tru was only 17 but she got an auntie with money. And she knew that. Who chooses to be pimped out. And I also wasn’t feeling the pedophile thing. I’m glad I read the Law series first because I would’ve thought Diamond lost her unique touch. But naw. That’s Law series was a 10 across the board.

Free and June go thru their ups and downs in their toxic relationship. Free and June decided to give their relationship a try with the darma,deceit , and pain and outside beef. Will the couple make thru their obstacles. Free is now pregnant with June child and getting her own tattoo shop. Free and her sisters go thru their on darma Tommie goes their a bad relationship with Gino and Dionne their older sister messing around with a married man. Tru is Tommie daughter get mixed up with this older men name Ricky who is really a pimp find out that it not worth all the trouble he has put her thru at seventeen. Shay and Fanatic are now in a relationship he trying to make her happy and treated like a queen. Fan baby mama Monique is immature and can't accept that he moved on with Shay she calls and tell him their daughter has a cast on her leg she fell out the bed unattended she is very irresponsible. Dionne is the older sister is messing around with a older man. Will Free and her family make it thru after Dionne is shot by her sugar daddy wife. Can't wait to read Free Me From you 3

Holyyyyyyyyy crap!! That was an ending I surely wasn't expecting. First off, Colby needs to get dealt with and fast because he's nothing but trouble. Free always felt that with Dionne dealing with a married man that something like this was going to happen. I just pray that Dionne pulls through because Free is not going to be able to handle this hurt. This darn Tru makes me so mad because she's basically putting everybody in danger and still trying to keep secrets. June gotta hurry up and handle Pooch because he's a problem. Last but not least, I think Fan and Shay are so cute together, and I feel as though she is going to have her first boy. Part 3 here I come

Make it make sense!
This was more of the same drama from book 1. I wish these characters would stop acting like middle school kids. Free and Asia going tic for tac over June, posting silly videos on social media, June acting crazy with his sister and best friend and really showing his immature ways shooting at a house party where because Free was there talking too Pooch. Pooch taking shit too far by raiding June trap house and killing part of his crew and let’s not forget Tommie ass hanging out in the streets and not being a mom to Tru. With the mess Tru is involved in, what mother that truly cared for her daughter would still have her roaming around without bodyguards. I’m not going to waste words on Colby craziness.

I have to remember Tru is jus a baby, albeit a 'grown azz baby'. The way she worked everybody nerves, im surprised she ain get that negative attention from tommie and free!! Now, somebody has to know who Ricky is and i have a feeling the crew knows him as someone else 🤷🏽♀️ 🤔 Free & June finally getting to some type of normalcy was needed for Free's mental health and June's physical well being 🤣 on top of colby acting up, tru doin wat she wanna do, and dionne bday incident, free gon ape shyt on da city and june gon be right behind her! I cant wait to get more into fanatic and shay business 🤣

Good Lawd!!
I'm happy that Fan and Shay secret is out. Colby is going to get himself killed messing with Pooch. Tru is going to gravitate towards older men because she was looking for love and she doesn't have the best male role models. I'm hoping Ricky got shot up like that. June is doing big things for Free to show his appreciation for her. Knowing she needs to spread her wings and stop working in the shop for somebody else. Dionne better make it because Free doesn't need that to type of stress in her life. Not when she's finally happy with June and their baby.

This book was filled with so much drama! June and Fanatic got things under control after June realized that Fanatic would never hurt Shay. June finally got his act together with Free, but other drama started with Pooch. True got herself wrapped up in some mess that could harm everyone. Free was afraid for Dionne. Everyone had drama that seemed to unfold at the end. We don't know if True or Dionne are okay. Free doesn't need to be under all of that stress. Fanatic has baby mama drama. Can't wait to read part three to see who's okay.

I love Free, Tommie and June. This story is a real great love hood story because it touches on so many real life events and family issues. I love how Free is with her niece and her man but most of all with her sisters. I love how Tommie doesn’t play with her daughter so I’m so ready for part 3

This story just keeps getting better and better. There is so much drama that I keep waiting for the happy ending but as I continue to read, I realize that there is still more drama to get through. I'm looking forward to the next book and still hoping for that happy ending.

I have to say I was not to into the first book of this story, but was I wrong. Diamond I couldn't put this one down, I have fallen
n for all the sisters and of course June.
So many things happening at once. Can't wait for book three hope the wait is not too long.

Diamond you never miss with your books. As I got down to the last 5-10 pages I knew it wasn’t going to end and there would be another installment to this series. All I could say at the end way damn you Diamond always leaving us with a cliff hanger. Patiently waiting for the next book.
