This was a rollercoaster of emotions omg. First I just need to say: I have been waiting to write this review for so long just to talk about, THERE BEING NO CABIN SCENE HERE!!!! I remember being SO excited when I realized I was gonna be able to read it and when I finally got to it I was so disappointed.
(SIGHS) The last 3 episodes still get me man omg, imagine reading your favourite three episodes of a series that you ADORE, forever grateful omg. I rolling all over the place, I know what happens I just couldn’t believe I was reading it.
“While Kenji and Ben argued, Darius actually felt himself smiling. The fact Brooklynn was still alive… he couldn’t believe it”
“At least she could free her friends so they could escape. But she couldn’t bring herself to stick around. Now was not the time for the reunion a part of her so desperately wanted” SUCH a GOOD line!!!!
“We’re not leaving without you” Darius said. I’M not leaving without you” ya’ll correct me if I’m wrong but… is this a clarification? Showing casing their relationship in a way and how it affects Darius in a different way? Know what I mean? Omg
When it said “Darius locked eyes with one of the van’s occupants. Brooklynn” AGHHHHHHH and and then
“Brooklynn eyes met Darius’s” THEY DID THIS FOR ME!!!!!
Honestly all their little moments in the last chapter/episode here makes up for getting rid of the cabin scene
I REALLY appreciated going into Brooklynn’s mindset a little bit more about how to help the group and if she does? I love the way this book went deeper into that especially at the reunion scene after finding out that Soyona is working with Biosyn next she still has so much more information to gather and she says that to the group here and it’s so good because she wishes SO HARD that she could go with them right there and then but she KNOWS DAMN WELL she can’t.
