Author of historical and religious books. He was born in Clapham, south London, but now lives in Brisbane, Australia, with his wife, Judith and their two sons, Adrian and Noel.

Wilson is most well known for his research on the Shroud of Turin.

There were some nice/cute stories of encounters with wildlife in this book. I found the wildlife biologist in me a little bugged at times by some of their more invasive actions in order to get photographs (like making noises). But I still liked several of the stories like the porcupine one.
