She grew up as an Air Force daughter and had an affinity for books at a relatively early age. Being enthralled by history and ancient egypt. She was a proficient reader and writer all throughout school.
With her interest growing in the works of macabre and dark poetry, like that from Edgar Allen Poe.
Over time, she wrote poems. Read to her hearts content.
For a long while, she slipped into a reading hiatus. Still continuing to collect books and frequent her local Barnes and Noble.
It wasn't until right before her husband deployed in 2023 that she fell back in love with reading like a star falling from the cosmos.
Collecting more history books in a 4 month period than one should be allowed to.
In the beginning of 2024, she started reading romance after being introduced to Fourth Wing and A Court of Thorns and Roses.
She had never been one for romances. But she fell in love with them. Reading over 36 romance novels in the span of 3 months.
One fateful day in June 2024, a friend of hers came to her asking for help on a story he was writing. Asking for help with a conflict.
The more her mind worked, the more her own story idea started to take place within her.
Before she knew it, Elevated Ambitions was born. And she set out on her biggest journey yet.

we have miss party girl kassandra dean who is blowing her fathers money traveling and living life , right ? well her dad gets sick of her shit and tells her , you’re working for my company now and you need to get your act together or no more inheritance for you , RIGHT ? so she goes to be an assistant for sexy , grumpy , brooding man ambrose beckett. when i tell you that this man despised her. he worked his way to the top & he was not having it with kassandra because she was handed everything. but that’s all im going to tell you , so you have to wait until this releases. 😘
you guys allllllllll know a grumpy mmc is my WEAKNESS. when i tell you this man’s heart was a block of ICE but melted as soon as he was developing feelings ??? PLEASE. this was so well written !!! i absolutely adored all of the characters , the plot , and the spice ??? girl , bc the spice in here was H O T. the side characters axel & sabrina were giving. axel was cracking me up bc same.
kassandra- miss kassandra , party , rich girl central. what i loved about her was her development throughout this book , all she really wanted was to make her father proud and to do something for HERSELF. dealing with the loss of her mother , grief never goes away , you learn to live with it. i was so proud of her development and her story because she came a long way towards the end. 🥹 & her love of people watching , pink and food was literally so relatable bc same gorlllllll.
ambrose- iceman central over here. grumpy mmcs will be the death of me. there’s just something about an mmc that gives off fuck you vibes but melts for the fmc , I EAT IT UP EVERYTIME. when i tell you that this man was going above & beyond for her esp towards the end of the book ? deceased. i was also crying for him because he worked his way up to the top , and he too , was dealing with grief of BOTH of his parents. he had no siblings , work was his life and he was alone. i was sobbing for this man. please.

Elevated Ambitions by Aurora Steinhart is a billionaire romance that completely exceeded my expectations. As someone new to this trope, I was instantly hooked by the dynamic between Kassandra and Ambrose. The close-proximity, enemies-to-lovers tension was executed so well—it had me rooting for them every step of the way.
Kassandra’s growth from a carefree party girl to someone discovering her purpose was compelling, and Ambrose’s journey from cold ambition to vulnerability was just as satisfying. The chemistry between these two? Off the charts. Even the third-act breakup, which can sometimes feel overdone, felt natural here and made the resolution so much sweeter.
For Aurora’s debut novel, this was impressively polished. Her writing style kept me engaged, and I’m already eager to see what she comes up with next. If you love a romance with strong characters, sizzling tension, and emotional depth, this one’s for you!

Are you kidding me??? This was so good!
The character development and growth??? The banter?? The spice?! Pleaseeeeee, I was here for all of it.
Kassandra is an heiress to a big ol inheritance. Her father is the CEO of an aviation company and has had enough of his daughter’s partying shenanigans. Our MC, sir Ambrose has an idea; make her his assistant. Her dad is totally on board, hoping this helps get her to buckle down before her fat check arrives. At first, I was annoyed by Ambrose and his “plan” but all is forgiven in the end. The tension was everything and when it finally broke, I was screeching. They were so good together and I love how they motivate each other to be better.
For being her first published novel, Aurora absolutely crushed it. @ the haters, YOU write a book then. YOU pour your heart and soul and hours upon hours into making your dreams come true. Aurora did such an excellent job and I cannot wait to read another one of her upcoming books.

4.5⭐️ this book actually had some of my least favorite tropes but it was done so absolutely perfect! The character development, the plot, the spice, the banter, this book was absolutely perfect! I instantly fell in love with the characters!

Ambrose is the work place ‘Iceman’ his only focus is getting the CEO position once Kassandra’s father retires. In order to get that position he has a list of what he thinks will get him that position, and on that list is marrying the CEOs daughter. So what does he do, why he offers to take the hotness CEOs daughter under his wing, only he has no idea what he’s in store for.
Kassandra loses her way after the loss of her mother. Jet setting, and partying has become the sole focus of her life. When everything spirals out of control Kassandra’s dad offers her an ultimatum. Get her life in order or lose her inheritance. Having the grumpy director offering to take her under his wing, she finds herself working a desk job as his personal secretary. Only she doesn’t expect Mr tall, dark and handsome to leave the sparks flying. Especially after their first meeting that ends with her throwing a drink in his face.
The attraction between Ambrose and Kassandra is immediate, even if neither one will admit it. Kassandra is a means to the CEO position to Ambrose, and Ambrose in a means to Kassandra’s inheritance for her.
When the sparks start flying and the spice kicks up, boy is it spicy! The mouth on Ambrose left me drooling! Then it all comes crashing down when Ambrose’s secret is discovered, only there may be another little person involved that could keep these two tied together forever.
I absolutely adored this book, it is a happily ever after! The amount of groveling Ambrose has to do is next level, and boy does he deserve to grovel! I cannot wait for the next book which will follow Kassandra’s best friend and roommate Sabrina!

I absolutely LOVED Kassandra and Ambrose’s story ! It was a cute but spicy workplace romance , but also emotionally engaging . It was a true depiction of falling in love when you least expect it. Also finding that ONE that will have you reevaluating everything you thought you wanted , alone, on your own . Sometimes it can be a touch , a look , or even a moment that can have you realizing maybe you want more , with just THAT someone . It’s crazy what a little thing called love can do ! The way he wasn’t afraid to fight for her was amazing , and the way she stood her ground and kept true to her word and feelings , truly showed her strength ! And if there is one thing I love , it’s a strong Female character and Aurora executed that beautifully . The self growth on both parts throughout this book was amazing AND realistic ! It’s wasn’t something from left field ! And it was something I could truly see happening if in a real world situation. Alls that to say .. I really loved this book ☺️🥰

A spicy billionaire romance that takes place because of the forced proximity in the workplace, say less! I completely forgot this was a debut novel because WHOA! It didn’t feel like it at all.
The tension between Kassandra & Ambrose 😮💨 I was eating it up! I will say I was a little apprehensive about Kassandra at first since she is a billionaire heiress but dang the author gave her some serious growth. I was really rooting for her & all her goals. 🥹
If you are a fan of billionaire romance, I highly recommend!

A story about an entitled heiress named Kassady being forced to run a desk job for her father’s underling, Ambrose. At first Ambrose sees it as a way closer to Kassy’s CEO dad, but things take a turn as they both realize they have feelings developing rapidly and the story unfolds from there into a lot of banter, spice, unexpected twists, and more.
I love this! The grumpy x sunshine vibes are immaculate and it’s one of my favorite tropes (in this book more iceman x sunshine characterization but either way!!) and the way they slowly realize their feelings with a nice banter-heavy slow burn plot I was in LOVE. I wasn’t expecting the heavy plot twist and redemption arc towards the end but it added even more depth to this story and romance that I love!! Kass and Ambrose’s development as individuals is exquisite and Im psyched for seeing how this continues to develop in book 2 someday!! Wow!! Definitely a top 5 romance read for me; and that’s a strong label since I normally rate spice heavy romances a liiiittle lower from my personal preference of sweet over spice BUT I liked that this novel had more limited spice and an included “chapters with spice” list at the beginning for if I want to skip the bigger smex scenes.

I devoured this book in two days! This was a page-turner, and I couldn't put the book down! I loved the romance and tension between Kassandra and Ambrose! 😍 I also loved the spicy scenes! 🔥 I can't wait for book two! 📚

First of all I just want to say Thank you!! To Aurora for trusting me in being an Arc reader for this book! ❤️ I’m so glad I stumbled upon your TikTok! Following along with this book being written was so thrilling I felt like I was going crazy with you! But! To the book..!
If you loved the Twisted series or the King Of series you will most definitely enjoy this book! There is a lot about this book that you don’t really see in many books! I don’t want to put any spoilers but you will know when you read it! I was absolutely blown away by the book. And I could never guess what was going to happen! I fell in love with the characters and even the side characters! Especially Ambrose! Who doesn’t love a broody man falling for someone who never knew he could fall in love! And Kassandra for doing things she never thought she could! I absolutely love it and I know you will too when you read it!

I really enjoyed this book! I found myself deeply connecting with the main male character, Ambrose, and Kassandra's introspective journey. The storyline was fast paced and kept me interested in the FMC and MMC development throughout the read. The intimate scenes were extra spicy and well written. I’m grateful to have been able to read it early and can’t wait to read more of Aurora’s work.

An amazing debut novel from Aurora Steinhart!!
It’s a workplace/billionaire romance. The characters were so well written, they had depth, they had dreams, passions, and tragic histories. There was banter, grumpy x sunshine (Doberman & Hellcat), he falls first, Boss & Assistant, third act breakup, and HEA. I thought this book was very realistic in terms of relationships and didn’t think the third act breakup was too bad considering the reason for the breakup was so valid. I think the length of the book was great, and that there’s so much amazing potential for the two best friends of each main character.

Elevated Ambitions by Aurora Steinhart is a captivating romance with a mix of drama and personal growth. Kassandra, who’s been living a carefree life, suddenly finds herself under the thumb of Ambrose, her no-nonsense boss. Their dynamic is tense, yet sparks fly as they’re pushed closer together. Steinhart does a great job at bringing Kassandra’s journey to life, and the chemistry between the characters is intense. If you enjoy stories about second chances with a good dose of spice, this one’s a fun read!

This book pulled me in from the beginning. It had me on my toes in anticipation, giggling (especially from a side character) and I shed just a few tears in which my heart strings were tugged on. Over all this book was a cute yet spicy fast paced story that I really enjoyed reading.

The character development in Kass i was so impressed with. I wouldn't have known this was Aurora's first book. It just flowed so we'll. The emotions I felt through their parents losses. This was wonderfully written.
It does include a trope that I'm not always a big fan of BUT I still loved the story regardless.

The character development in Kass i was so impressed with. I wouldn't have known this was Aurora's first book. It just flowed so we'll. The emotions I felt through their parents losses. This was wonderfully written.
It does include a trope that I'm not always a big fan of BUT I still loved the story regardless.

This book was absolutely brilliant.. work place romance! Fun, spicy, cute! I couldn’t tell this was this authors debut novel! It blew me away!! The perfect start to my holiday reads! Amazing plot, the characters were to die for! I love Kass, and her determination and grit.. and Ambrose.. I need him like in every book!! lol his character was perfect!! This was a sweet romance and I’ll be reading whatever this author decides to blow me away with next!! Awesome read! Highly recommend! Couldn’t put it down! 10 stars!

Kassandra is the daughter to a CEO of a plane manufacturing company, after being wild for a good part of her life her daddy decides it’s time for her to grow up or she won’t receive her inheritance…enter Ambrose he volunteers and offers to take her under her wing and show her a thing or two about hard work. Kassandra ends up having to be his assistant and while she doesn’t want a thing to do with it at first, she slowly begins to slay and well if I say anymore I’ll ruin it soooo go read for yourself 🤪 Ambrose is SEXYYY okay, the mouth on this man, I was sweating. The spice in this book was HOT. I loved every second of it. I was hooked from the beginning, and it held every bit of my attention all the way to the end. Truly captivating. He is all man and he has his sights set on the boss’s daughter and the CEO spot.
I read this book in 2 sittings and I only put it down because I had to go to sleep before work. The way Aurora Steinhart weaved together this world makes you feel invested in seeing these characters grow and fall in love. I am obsessed with Ambrose’s character he is the perfect grumpy, sexy, alpha male that still knows how to romance a woman. I am very eagerly awaiting book 2 in the Up in the Air series.

The characters themselves leap off the page with vivid life, and I found myself unable to put the book down. It felt like I was being pulled into their universe, experiencing every moment alongside them. Each character struck a chord in different ways: Kassandra, with her bold pursuit of dreams, made me want to chase after my own wildest ambitions. Sabrina reminded me of the irreplaceable bond with my best friend—seriously, it’s like the author read our group chat! And then there’s Ambrose... oh, Ambrose. He had me feeling everything—and honestly, can I make him my official book boyfriend? His character made me feel ambitious, inspired, and maybe just a little obsessed.

My sister got this book for me thinking it was something I'd like. She's right, I should have liked it. Sadly, it gives debut self publish vibes. The poor formatting, grammar errors and poorly executed flashbacks/changes in time make it difficult to read. Clearly the work of a fledgling author who, while has potential, would have benefited from significantly more practice before launching.
It has potential but I could not finish it (updated to reflect I forced myself to finish it- I do hate leaving things unfinished.)
Shaming a reader on your tiktok for leaving a thoughtful review after finishing half your book before calling it quits is not cool. It's rude and disrespectful and seeing as the other 2 star reviewer on Amazon didn't leave any comments, it's clear who you're speaking of. My sister sent me the tiktok.

From the cover to the final page, this book completely pulled me in. The writing is smooth, elegant, and so easy to get lost in — one of those reads where you look up and realize hours have passed.
The characters are what really made this story for me. Kassandra’s drive and ambition were inspiring, Sabrina gave me all the best-friend feels, and Ambrose… yeah. He absolutely earned book-boyfriend status. No notes.
The tension and spice were perfectly done — slow, intentional, and incredibly satisfying without ever feeling overdone.
This is an easy five-star read for me and one I’ll happily reread. This author is one of my favorite indie writers and the reason I fell in love with reading indie books in the first place. I can’t wait for what she gives us next.

This was so good like I can’t explain how this book became one of my favorites of the year. Ambrose the man you are🤭🤭🤭. I love the way Ambrose thought of Kassandra since he meet her, I’m going to miss these two so much😣. I have read a bit of romances novels that hasn’t capture my attention has much as this book did. I 100% recommend this book to anyone that is interested in Ambrose and Kassandra’s story. Also I need to more about Sabrina’s story👀
