Ahhh finally done reading it and I can't explain how much I enjoyed reading this. And this is coming from someone who don't like history books btw. The writing is awesome and detailed; very apprehensive and thorough. Can't really believe this is my fifth 5 star read of the year; or guess I'm just lucky :-)
An excellent book which provides details about the history of Thailand and her deep rooted connections with India. It was fascinating to read about the critical role played by Thailand in the shaping of the Indian National Army by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose about which there is very little mention in Indian history. The book is about the author's journey around Thailand and his quest to find out about Thailand's history and his interactions with people all around the country. The writing is easy to understand and it feels that one can see through the author's eyes about his experiences. This book covers some important aspects from Indian history also and is highly recommended for everyone.
