John is 20 years or more older than his wife Emma, a student at the college where he's a professor. And she's an ex-cheerleader, quitting the party life, we gather, when she got married.
A random event makes him wonder if she misses the life she used to lead—and he gives her permission to lead it again. You know where it's headed but the journey is fun, with a couple of episodes that have nothing to do with campus life.
Lee captures the age gap inventively in the story's opening, where she's taunting him to jump a narrow creek. An old married wouldn't do it. But she's not old. And John reflects on the way the age gap shapes them—different mores, plus he needs Viagra.

Okay but...
I liked most of the story and feel sure that more adventures await these 3. What I didn't like was that she cheated on her husband first. There's no "just a little suck is okay", that's cheating. And what happened to not being on birth control? So now she'll get pregnant and not know who the father is?

Great book give it a read you won’t be disappointed, another Matthew Lee novel that hits the spot.
