A trial from the author to represent struggle against oppressors, especially by the people Iraq, through the myths of Io, Antigone and Elektra.. While Io and Antigone had a tragic ending, the author tweaks the story of Elektra so that she represents a promise that one day the oppressed will prevail against the oppressors.
As we witness the genocide in Gaza, this play, although very simple, speaks to us today.
