This was such a fantastic read. It had everything! An incredible plot that takes you through all the emotions. Smut ohhhhh the smut. Cough cough shower scene 🔥🔥 and interesting characters that keep you entertained the entire time!

Well shit, I don’t have very many words. This was definitely different. If you’re easily bothered, read the trigger warnings below.
This book had my attention from the very first chapter…it was full of suspense. My heart was in my gut - no joke! It was a quick read and I finished in less than 24 hours. It was steamy and dark…full of MF and MFF spice. Like, my body was flushed it was so damn spicy. There were plenty of times I caught myself staring at the wall like “what just happened.” But I’ll be honest about halfway through I felt like the plot kinda fell off and it became straight smut. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some smut. However, I do wish there was much more to the story. I wish we dived into her past a bit more…I just wanted more. Overall a good read, but I’m in love with this author and her previous books are top tier. She set her own standards and they are high AF 😆 This was just missing a little something.

This book was such a wild ride. I haven’t read a lot of MFF and I enjoyed the change up from my usuals.

I do wish we could have seen a bit more of one of the FMC’s past, especially since it leaned towards mostly smut after the halfway point, but overall I’m pretty happy with this one.
While I definitely recommend reading this, PAY ATTENTION TO THE TRIGGER WARNINGS. Seriously this one is not for the faint of heart and it is not a light story in any way, not even the spice (forreal Clara, you got pretty creative on those supplemental toys).
I believe this is the first dark story the author has written and if so, I hope she does more because I read all 180 something pages in one sitting (who needs sleep anyway).

Wow. Wow. Wow. Like how do I even put into words what I am feeling right now? 🫨
This book was absolutely amazing. I cannot even explain this enough. I was pulled in from the very first page to the very last and ate it up!
The characters are incredible and I felt like I was watching a movie play out while reading this! Pocket is freaking nuts, but I don't even blame her one bit for it. AK, woah this man is 🫠 and Echo...oh sweet baby Echo. I love all of them so much that I'm not even sure if I can pick who my favorite is!
The trauma that both Pocket and Echo have had to endure is gut wrenching, but how they managed to come out on the other end, together, is beautiful! They may have had to break down a lot of walls and endure a lot, but together, they're unstoppable. Then adding AK into the mix was everything and more.
Ohhhh and the spice....woah nelly, it was SPICIN' 🥵
And let's not forget the amount of times that this book had me LOLing for real 🤣

I thoroughly enjoyed this. It gave me a bit of a Butcher and Blackbird feel. I love how the name of the book is a play on the nicknames of the main female character. The revenge is sublime, the interactions are great, and the spice is perfection.

Hm, the idea was decent but it lacked a plot- it was basically 100+ pages of smut which isn’t the issue- it lack character development / personality and was kinda flat
the writing was okay- readable as I did read it all but I did skimmed through a bit of it
This is a ME issue but it was too Insta love for me
Also the whole nicknames thing were cringey (definitely knife daddy) which was throughout the whole book the 1000 different names for each character made me not want to continue the book- nearly every sentence it was cringy nickname after another- a few times throughout the book would be fine but nearly every sentence was not it for me
Would of love more of a backstory from all the characters and more build up to a storyline- as the ending was rushed and I wasn’t satisfied with it

When I see a review that states to CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS, you know that imma check it out and this did NOT DISAPPOINT!!!
Hell to the yes!!!!
Not only were there trigger warnings that even my friends would question, it was dark, it was why choose, it was unhinged, it was smutty asf, so much humor etc etc.
I read this in a matter of hours. Stayed up incredibly late to finish this because I couldn't put it down and I needed to know how it finished.
This was definitely darker than any of L Clara's other works but I'm not complaining. Love the work of this author and will continue to read anything they write!
This storyline is definitely realistic and quite heartbreaking tbh. But I loved the characters, I loved the plot (or lack thereof due to the spice 😉). Just joking, it had plot and a great storyline but there was a lot of pages dedicated to smut and I loved every second of it!!!
Also, that Grey's Anatomy reference? So freaking good. Loved that! 😂

Before I start, I will say that you need to take the trigger warnings VERY seriously if you are easily bothered by the topics listed on it. I am not, but the topics in this book could definitely be too much for some people. Your mental health matters, so don’t read it if you are concerned about it bothering you!
With all of that said, this book absolutely captured my attention! I struggled so much to put it down (hence being able to read it in less than 24 hours 🤣). It was full of drama, dark topics, and LOTS of spice! The nicknames each character had for the others was adorable and I absolutely loved how the MMC interacted with the FMCs. Definitely give it a try!
I took a star away because there were a few typos still and it was kind of hard for me to follow what was happening in certain scenes, but aside from that, I did really enjoy this book! But it is definitely a DARK romance!

This was such a dark, spicy, and quick read novella! I sat down and devoured it right away. Of course, please check all triggers before reading because there is some very dark and sensitive subjects.
Pocket is out for revenge. She wants to find who took her sister 12 years ago and she wants to make them pay. She is caught off guard when she is joined during one of her hunts by AK. And it got spicy right away. She calls him Knife Daddy and the two were inseparable ever since. Then they rescue her sister’s best friend and someone she had a crush on when she was younger. Now the three of them are out for revenge and want to take down anyone who hurt them. There are still some secrets that are going to come out, but the three get closer and closer each day.
I love a revenge story! When the ones who were hurt get to take down the bad guy and make them pay. Yes please. Threw unlikely people, brought together, and formed their own family together.

Before starting this book, make sure you read all the trigger warnings. I absolutely loved this book! I was able to read this in one day...it really snagged my attention right from the very beginning. I loved the fact that the FMC was strongly independent and handled her business when it needed to be handled! In today's times...it's hard to grasp the concept that things like this are happening all around us, makes me sit and ponder if there are real Chloe's out there seeking revenge! The MMC was also a fiercely independent man, stood back when Chloe was in her element, but was also close by when she needed him. Overall... I would 1000% recommend this book to anyone, but as I said, read those trigger warnings!

MFF is not usually my jam, but the way this author wrote her characters was chef's kiss. AK (MMC) is major "DADDY" vibes with Pocket (FMC) who despite her badass don't mess with me personality submits gladly to him. The patience they both have with Echo (FMC #2) is endearing. The three of them make a yummy dynamic that holds no jealousy or animosity with one another. The smut was smutting so hard! Every new release this author has is better and better. The growth in her writing is amazing to see...having read all of her books. I'm never dissapointed and the story will live rent free in my head for a long time!

This book is unhinged :D If you have some triggers or are a bit squirmish, definitely check those out before diving in!
I'm actually very conflicted about what to write in this review, because I don't want to give anything away :D It was a quick read with some uhm.. Interesting scenes and smutty smut.
I love the dynamic of the mains whilst questioning my sanity.
It is quite a bit darker than L. Clara's previous work, but I still enjoyed it for the most part (like I said, some scenes where... Interesting).
So, if you're a tw shopping list pro and have a strong stomach, plus enjoy some hot smut between MFF, here's a book for you!

Wow! This book took me from anger to wtf is happening to ohh hot guy to aww how sweet! This was my first MFF. Killer was unhinged and I get why. AK was a cinnamon roll who wanted to make his girls happy, and Echo was a shy and sweet girl who found her people. They had so many cute nicknames for each other and it wasn't hard to track which nickname belonged to whom. The story was very fast-paced and had a lot of character development for each character. The pace of the book didn't take away from the story. I hope we get more of their story! I loved each character and how much they grew. Go get this book! It's dark, unhinged, and has humor, found family, and love!

First of all, this book is full of smut, smut, and smut!! This murder plot is a great story line. I thought all the characters were very alike but also different. The emotions this storyline has you experiencing is craziness. I want all abusers to be reprimanded and this story is perfect for that. Please read all trigger warnings before reading. Overall, if you can stomach the trigger warnings this book will be a quick read full of action.

This book was so good. All I had to do was read the prologue, and I was immediately hooked. When it comes to the spice, L. Clara doesn't hold back, if you know what I mean. Every time I finished a chapter, I had to read more to see what happened next. Killer in our Pocket was such an easy read, I literally finished this book in two days. I couldn't put it down, and it kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page.

It took me a while to finish this book, I just couldn’t pick it up. Because I didn’t want it to END!
After reading all of the other books by L. Clara reading this one was a surprise and what a great one at that. If you’re familiar with the MMCs from the Unexpected series you’ll know that they all will bust down some doors for their women. Pocket on the other hand, she’ll beat any man with the door. It’s the blue hair, we do it better. 😈💁🏻♀️

Overall the book was okay. It was extremely heavy on the smut, so if that’s what you’re looking for this is definitely your book. IF you can get past the trigger warnings.
I felt there could have been more character development in the beginning. I would have liked to see more about AK and his past.
The story felt a bit rushed and the plot seemed to trickle off until it was just all smut. But like I said this could be the story for them, just not so much for me.

I absolutely love MFF, and this book totally switched things up for me in the best freaking way😍😍
It’s dark, spicy, and honestly had me feeling all kinds of way!
Loved how Pocket named AK 🤭🤭🤭 itkyk
🔪💖The characters are all shades of morally grey, and I loved seeing how messed up they all were.
😍🥰💖🔪Can’t wait to explore both of the FMC's past a bit more since it got pretty steamy after the halfway point, but overall, I really loved it!😍🥰💖🔪

This book is incredibly captivating with its intense emotions and a compelling storyline that resonates deeply. The resilience of the characters, who continue to love despite enduring immense pain, is truly remarkable. I read up to about 80% and decided to DNF it. So I enjoyed the plot but it was very little plot. I love me some good spice especially when it’s like this a MFF but the plot was so small compared to the smut so in my opinion it turned into just an erotica book BUT I do read those also and this one got too repetitive for me.

Killer in our Pocket was a fantastic dark romance! This book is recommended for mature audiences. Please read warning before reading this book.

Saviors. That’s what they were for her. Although it may seem like they were just doing a job, they were, in reality, doing it for her. To save and protect her. This book by L Clara was a shorter read that was full of spice. I do wish there was a little more of a storyline to this book, but this was a cute short story where they’re the savior but the villain to others.

This book had me hooked within the first few pages, I couldn't put it down.
The plot with captivating and the spice was fantastic. I loved AK and Pocket.
If you have previously read L.Clara books, this is a lot darker, so as always, I highly recommend reading the triggers first.
