Beautiful book - heinous main male character.

Page one, in a letter to his mother, he (a Socialist) states that a new world is coming, with class equality, and if it has to come by an ocean of blood than good, as he's always swum well in that element 🫢🤮💩

Goes on to treat Africans poorly, surprise surprise. Apparently I should excuse this because of that perennial excuse: 'the times', but see, 2000 years ago a man came down from heaven and REMINDED the human race about morality. The times are no excuse for being a despicable psychopath...but that's all that Socialism is about being.
