He joined BioWare towards the end of the Baldur's Gate series, and wrote the tie-in novel for Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. He stayed with BioWare, where he worked on Neverwinter Nights, and became the Senior Writer on the critically acclaimed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

The first book was honestly the best one book 2 felt like a drag at some points and just didn’t really resonate with what I read in book one. However book 3 really surprised me cause the beginning kind of drags and leave you with this impression that you know what’s going to happen but then you get to the end and it really surprises you leaving you to your imagination.
