Not enough conflict.

There are many events in this book, and many of them evoked strong emotions, but somehow they didn't add up to a deeply moving story as a whole. Woman is betrayed by lover, condemned to alien fight arena, falls in love with her trainer, marries him, get free, is kidnapped by evil lover, gets saved, has baby with husband. The end. Other issues were: 1 dimensional alien husband, five-year un-written about gap between falling in love and getting free of arena, unreal relationship also with husband's family-too Pollyanna. Author's other books (Discordia Jones series) are much much better.

An enjoyable love tale

I really enjoyed reading this tale of survival and love. The passion and understanding between the main characters was enduring. I really liked the fact that their story was concluded with the completion of their family. Most books would just leave it all to speculation.
