Streetfighters
In every city and town in Britain, there are men who have earned notoriety with their fists. Hardmen, bouncers, bareknuckle brawlers and enforcers, they are throwbacks to an age when disputes when settled in blood.
In this revealing book, Julian Davies interviews two dozen of the toughest streetfighters alive, from gypsy prize-fighting champions to top martial artists, to lift the lid on their brutal world of violence, honour and respect.
Through the fighters' own words, he uncovers a harrowing world of bloody gang fights, brutal reprisals, pub brawls, and even deaths.

put-down
December 28, 2020I was hoping for more of a story from each of the fighters.. it was really just a blow by blow account of bashing people up for really trivial reasons. This is definitely not for me. I will still try his bouncers book as I loved the hookers one so much...
