A wonderful book to have on hand for the practitioner, student, or even mothers who want to learn about the power of homeopathy! The author paints very detailed portraits for all the main homeopathic remedies that may be indicated during pregnancy, labor, and infancy. He shares many case studies that are very helpful, inspiring and nothing short of miraculous! Why don't more pregnant women know how incredible this healing art is for their ailments and health challenges?! However, in the words of the author, homeopathy is "a difficult and exacting art, and even after years of study and practice a skilled prescriber may need to try several different remedies before obvious benefit is obtained." Sadly, homeopathy is not user-friendly. It takes a skilled prescriber who is open-minded and able to navigate things when results are not showing within a reasonable time frame.

This, obviously, is not a book that is always necessary or relevant to every individual yet, being currently "in the family way" this book has extremely timely information and brings a lot of confidence to the use of homeopathy to smooth the concerns of pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding, post partum depression and healing. I have had great success with the small discomforts I've personally treated using this reference. Highly recommended, if it's your thing!
