Having grown out of his crib, Jed gets a brand new bed, but the bed appears too big and Jed doesn't want anything to do with it until his parents step in and show him all the benefits that a big bed can offer.

This reminds me of the Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books. It's a story about getting a child to do what he doesn't want to do. Jed has been sleeping in a crib and it's time for him to move to a big bed (not a toddler bed -- it looks even bigger than a twin). He protests because it's different, it's the wrong color, it's just wrong. All the adults crawl into his bed and there's no room for him.
A Bid Bed For Jed was such a cute book. This book can help kids who are getting their first real bed. I think this story is great because many kids do feel that fear of getting a new bed. This story was funny and I think it could definitely help kids/parents who are struggling with that transition.
