Helloooo! And thanks for visiting me here at Goodreads. I appreciate your time.

As you may already know, I am the author of a young adult series of magical adventures called In Search of the Nexus which features 12-year-old Buggy Crenshaw:

"Buggy Crenshaw and the Bungler's Paradox"
"Buggy Crenshaw and the Deadwood Principle: Evolution"
"Buggy Crenshaw and the Deadwood Principle: Revolution!"

Also, my YA novel "Magpie & Dilly" is the most recent and is of the same genre and magical world as my Buggy books.

While I do love writing about Buggy and her adventures, I also love to draw odd creatures and some of the more bizarre characters from the magical world where Buggy lives.

A few years ago, I began to work with software that allowed me to show my stories as well as tell them. Nowadays I work mostly with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and have managed to put together a new fully-illustrated adventure called "The Cautioner's Tale." It's the first of a trilogy called "Mary Morgan's Journal," and will be available November 8, 2017.

Once more, thank you so much for visiting me here at my Goodreads home and do please stop by my website www.iamrmwilburn.com or visit me at Facebook: www.Facebook.com/BuggyCrenshaw. Also, feel free to contact me with questions, comments, or just to chit-chat. :-)

Dream big!

After defeating Lord Electrocucius, Buggy has become a Warrior for the Greater Good of Mankind - picking up where she last left off and ready for another adventure.

Now Buggy and her brother, Frank, have discovered a theory presented by two very prestigious scientists, Cedar and Cypress Deadwood. This theory states that if one of the Gateways to the Nexus is opened (like it was in her previous adventure), the universe would become unbalanced and chaos would erupt.

With the help of her best friends, Sid and Veronica, Buggy deciphers messages, and goes on an adventure to face enemies far worse then any she has met in the past. Fuelled by curiosity and her wild sense of adventure, she embarks on another journey to save the world.

Overall, this was a good book. The plot was very interesting and the characters were well-developed. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book in the series, BUGGY CRENSHAW AND THE BUNGLER'S PARADOX, but it was still good. It took a long time for me to get into the story, but once I got about 100 pages in, it started to pick up and was quite enjoyable.

This is a good book (and series) for younger teens, as it really stimulates the imagination.
