Laura J. Underwood brings you a new story of Conor Manahan. While escorting a caravan through Cinnoch Connor and his family--his healer wife, Eithne, and his mageborn adopted son, Rhoyd--come across an unusual landmark. They stop the night at Rhucnach Ruins a place that reeks of magic and which was warded years ago. Conor is unnerved by the place for the sake of his son. Sensitive to magic, Rhoyd is eager to explore their campsite, especially the ruins.

But it is the discovery of a statue bearing a locked box that brings to light events that transpired years before. Soon Rhoyd is answering to a strange woman singing in his dreams. His disappearance forces Conor to face the differences himself and his mageborn son and other men. Can solving a riddle from ages past save them or will it bring them further troubles?

Filled with the mythology of Keltora and other lands that Laura J. Underwood has built in her novels Ard Master and The Black Hunter, Gather My Bones is a fast paced, suspenseful read.
