I absolutely adore the playful tone of this author, and kids will love it too! It's a gift that turns reading her work into a joyful journey from start to finish. In this read, children will find themselves immersed in a world of fun, where bright and vibrant illustrations bring the ocean to life, sparking curiosity and wonder about the underwater kingdom! Stuffed to the gills with fascinating insights about various sea creatures, this book even had me doing a double-take with facts I hadn’t previously encountered, and it’s sure to delight even the most seasoned young marine enthusiasts. It's truly a treasure chest of wisdom, skillfully transformed into a fun-filled adventure that vows to captivate and inform young minds.
I also really appreciate how the author communicates directly with their young audience, using a kind and reassuring voice as they imagine their adventures beneath the sea; it’s such a lovely detail. Moreover, as a mother of four, I have a special fondness for books that encourage interaction between the narrative and its audience, as these are the ones that they seem to benefit from the most.
