One stormy fall night, Steve Garvey, an old friend, found Colton in a dive bar called The Devil’s Roost. Colton was busy teaching hand-to-hand combat lessons to some less-than-worthy adversaries.
Garvey needed some highly talented muscle and offered Colton a job helping him catch child kidnappers, traffickers, and pedophiles. Given his tortured past, Colton saw the job as a gift from heaven. One he could enthusiastically get behind.
Along the way, they acquired a new furry partner. Meet Dog!
From the remote Sierra Nevada mountains to the N.W. Hills of Portland, home to the city’s affluent elites, the trio was determined to press on. Not even the legendary ghost of a long-dead Indian Shaman could deter them.
I think this should be a real good book For anyone to read The language and the visual This grimlock kind of had to question some of it But it was really really good The message that was being sent I thought The characters were colorful And complex I wasn't to happy with Hope that there will be a book #3Hope that there will be a book #3I am really interested in it.
Once again Michael Colton tracks down the dregs of society while trying to overcome his own demons. As a tool of vengeance he dismantles a well connected child slavery operation and rescues their victims. Unencumbered by the constraints that our public servants have he is able to wrap things up quickly.
What a stellar book! This one will not be put down. Fast paced, well written and action-packed! The characters have some serious grit. You will definitely want to read this one.
Michael Colton has made a new friend who he is in sync with when it comes to ridding the world of pedophiles. Bullies & cowards get their comeuppance, some to prison, & some to a dirt nap.
I enjoyed the story line. I love the characters, and the side stories. I like that each book has an ending. However, the word "buddy" was used way too much. Annoying even.
The story was going ok until I read the exact same few paragraphs that were in the first book, but with a different character. That just seems lazy and ruined the book for me. I won't be finishing this book.
Another fine action-packed book in the series. So much to keep you interested from start to finish and now I will be reading the next one in the series very soon.
