⭐REVIEW: The Light That Beckons
by Dane Dowell

If there was a book that showed the raw reflections of a
man's journey, this book would be it. In this book,
author Dane Dowell recounts his enlightening
experiences listening to his soul's calling.

He shares with us his struggle with his corporate job,
his sexuality, and many other challenges he faced
during his life. Through his story, we learn that life is an
ongoing journey of discovery where the only constant
is change, and where acceptance rather than
resistance is the way to find the authentic expression of
the self and learn to live an aligned life with passion
and purpose. The depths of his reflections are second
to none of the authors I have explored.

🤔 My thoughts on the book

I found the book surprisingly profound and pleasantly
accessible. I loved how he read some of the books I
consider great and has brilliantly combined the
knowledge learned from those books with his life
experiences to improve his condition and live his most
genuine and authentic life.

I also greatly admire his courage to face his own
demons and to accept who he really is; that is a form of
bravery I deeply admire. Men are capable of
externalizing their courage by throwing themselves into
the fire to save people. Still, they often struggle with
having the courage to face their inner demons, and
Dane's experience proves that finding the courage to
do so yields so many benefits!

Why you should read this book❓

Because most of you are not living the lives you always
wanted to experience. Most of you know there is a
deeper and higher calling awaiting you, but you are
confused and unsure about how to move forward to live
your best life. The Light That Beckons will fill you with
courage and hope for a better life by embracing a life of
reflection and action!
