As a surgeon, I have reviewed all commercial available, English language anatomy references. Carmine D. Clemente's Atlas surpasses all in its accuracy and straight-forward
representation of human anatomy. I encourage all resident surgeons that I train to obtain this atlas and frequently refer to it when planning complex procedures.

Clemente has written a fine reference book, and I'm sure folks get a lot of use from it. For my purposes as a manual therapist, this book was an absolute waste of time and money. Trail Guide to the Body supercedes Clemente in every way.

Not a book to read cover-to-cover, except for medical practitioners. For me, a reference and a text book. Excellent photos and diagrams to assist understanding.

To me, this is THE anatomy book. By far the best illustrations out there. Sadly, they kind of ruined it by skimping on pages and making the font painfully small.
