This was written for a scholarly audience (it's an expansion of the author's PhD thesis), which means citations litter the page, and the footnotes are choked with original Greek and Latin. It also really, really reads like a thesis, which can be frustrating at times when what you want is a smooth narrative. That aside, the information was very interesting.

A lot of depth and information. At times difficult to digest but it has saved my summative so I can’t complain too much
