While this was not my favorite mystery, that is nothing against the book. See, I prefer my mysteries cozy. I prefer a Cat Lady to solve the mystery.

But don’t get me wrong, I prefer this book to anything that could have been written today. There was no agenda. No political stances trying to be shoved down your throat. And no mention of global warming. It was a nice clean murder mystery with no personal view points of the writer. That is how a book ought to be written, in my humble opinion.

Would I read this author again? Most definitely! But if I had to choose between another of his books vs a mystery with a cat, a tea cup and quilt on the cover that book would win out. Again, nothing against this book, it’s just how I prefer my mysteries.
