A Christmas-hating man who won't let me borrow his reindeer.
Living in a Christmas-obsessed town while being a self proclaimed Christmas enthusiast means that I take my role as coordinator for the Frosty Fest very seriously. Everything has to be perfect, and I bust my butt to make sure it is.
Everything was going to plan until Mr. Truman died and left his grouchy grandson in charge of the reindeer. Not only is he the epitome of a grinch, he's unwilling to even hear me out when I try to explain why this is so important to our town.
But desperate times call for desperate measures, and if Brody Truman thinks that a catastrophic blizzard or getting stuck to his fence post will stop me, he's got another thing coming.
I'll get those reindeer, one way or another. Even if I have to put everything on the line and make the man who hates Christmas find some holiday joy in that icy heart of his.
But the clock is ticking, and I have less than two weeks to change his mind and save Frosty Fest.

Everyone in Sugarplum Falls is obsessed with Christmas. Especially Jasmin, who's in charge of the holiday festival this year. When Brody comes to town to take care of his grandfather's reindeer and quickly realizes he's the odd man out since he is not a fan of Christmas. Brody's grandfather promised Jasmin she could use the reindeer for the festival, but Brody says no. Jasmin is determined to get these reindeer no matter what she needs to do.
My favorite little small town holiday series is back and this one has to be one of my favorites in this series! I loved how Jasmin just doesn't give up and absolutely has to get her hands on those reindeer! With all the fun, there were also some more serious moments that gave this story the depth it needed. This is a spicy dirty Hallmark type book that even had me messaging the author at one point with “you did not” and “is that really a thing?” within minutes of each other.
THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You love spicy holiday rom coms that are connected in a big, fun series.
More 4 1/2 🌟 Christmas hallmark vibes with hint of spice set in a small town with plenty of laugh out loud moments makes Blame It On The Reindeer a great read. This enemies to lovers snowed in romance with plenty of Christmas vibes features Jasmin and Brody. I adore the way Samantha writes and this one doesn’t disappoint. I would highly recommend this one. I received a complementary copy from Booksirens.
uhm ...dude fingers a jar of mayo, spanks the lunch meat and calls the mustard a squirter.
WTF
I opened the jar of mayonnaise, and then, instead of using a knife, I inserted two fingers— yup, those two. I moved them around, slowly stirring the top layer as my fingers got coated
Next, I grabbed a pack of deli lunch meat gripping it tightly before pulling a few slices free and slapping them down onto the bread, I couldn’t help but wonder if the sound mimicking spanking. I opened another pack of lunch meat and did the same
Then, to top it all off, I grabbed the bottle of mustard, turned it upside down and started to squeeze, loving the opening I’d been given when an air bubble got caught and forced some of it to splatter. “Looks like she’s a squirter,” I said nonchalantly
Nope. Just nope. Please leave the poor sandwich alone.
Such a cute story with a bit of spice and Hallmark vibes. There's a grumpy MMC and a persistent sunshiny FMC but can she thaw his frozen Grinch heart? I liked her friend family and support system.

Their story was so stinking cute! He’s a little Grumpy she’s a little sunshine, they get snowed in together and of course be on my has one bed at his house.
The connection starts building between them and they eventually cave. They can hardly keep their hands off each other after that!
Love how she helps him process some heavy feelings and is able to get something back to him that his mom stole from him as a kid.
This book ends on Christmas Day and is wrapped up perfectly for this couple 🥰
Such a great grumpy x sunshine holiday romance novella. Don’t let the cover and title make you think this is a cute and sweet story. The spice from Brody’s mouth will melt your panties! The sandwich scene was priceless! For a quick read this story packs a punch with humor and spice. A must read!
Favorites from book: “This man was more confusing than eleventh-grade algebra.”
"A sandwich?" she questioned, her voice suddenly high-pitched. "That's not a sandwich. That's porn." "Trust me, that's not porn. But if this really turns you on, you can watch me eat. I really, really love eating."
"If the size of this tree impresses you, my one-eyed monster is sure to send you over the edge."
This is the fifth book in The Sugarplum Falls series, a lot of previous characters make appearances and it feels like going back on holiday to your favourite village. We focus on Jasmin and Brody. Jasmin is looking forward to the Frosty Fest even though it brings chaos to her every day. That is until she finds out Mr. Truman had died, what about the reindeer, he always supplies the reindeer. Now her to do list got even longer. Brody was disappointed when he arrived a day after his grandfather died. Having the farm left to him was going to cause problems, he has enough of them he doesn't need his estranged family as well. Then of all things a woman turns up wanting him to allow the reindeer take part in her Frozen Palooza or whatever. Ok he's a grumpy person can't people accept his privacy. When Jasmin and Brody end up being snowed in at his home the story begins. I've throughly enjoy this series each book blends together perfectly and brings past characters into the story as well. If you love a laugh out loud, spicy rom com this has it all. Samantha has a way of just keeping you gripped to the story and always having a hilarious journey to get to the end
Jasmin loves Christmas and is in charge of Frosty Fest, the crown jewel of events to ring in the holiday in Sugarplum Falls. When she realizes the man who usually brings the reindeer passed away and his grumpy grandson, the new owner isn’t interested in participating, she decides to make it so he can’t say no.
Brody hates everything about Christmas. And, he won't be bullied to have him or his reindeer participate, even by the tiny and gorgeous, yet feisty woman he finds stuck on his newly inherited ranch during a snowstorm.
But the line between enemies and lovers is very thin when stuck together in the snow . . .
I’m so excited to be back in Sugarplum Falls for the holiday! Blame it on the Reindeer has it all! Forced proximity, off the hook chemistry between Brody and Jasmin and some not safe for work lunchtime escapades that lead to a lot of fun! This story was instalust to instalove. It was sexy and sweet and all sorts of Brody’s holiday grinchness versus Jasmin’s festiveness.
4 stars for this fun and quick read with just enough emotional moments to add some depth to an otherwise amusing holiday romance.
Blame It On The Reindeer by Samantha Baca is book five in the Sugarplum Falls series and can be read in any order. This is a classic grumpy/sunshine with a got snowed in twist and it was so good!
After Brody’s grandfather passed away, he inherited his ranch which includes the reindeer that Jasmin uses each year at the Frosty Fest Christmas parade. Mr. Grump decides he isn’t letting her use them this year and she goes to the ranch to persuade him to change his mind and gets snowed in.
This was a good quick read with a heartwarming story, when you uncover all of Brody’s layers and discover the real him and the reason he’s a grump, it’s actually evident that he’s a cinnamon roll underneath and that he’s been through quite a lot. I enjoyed the playful banter and jabs they took at each other. I liked Jasmin’s persistence and determination to get what she wanted. I recommend this spicy close proximity, grumpy/sunshine, Christmas rom-com with a HEA!
Enjoyed this lighthearted festive enemies to lovers romance.
Jasmin runs the Frosty Fest for the small town of Sugerplum falls and she gets Mr Truman's reindeer as one of the main attractions for the christmas festival.
When Mr Truman dies and leaves his grandson in charge, who hates christmas she has a fight on her hands.
Brody does not like christmas and avoids everyone in town.He is a total grump. When he meets Jasmin the sparks fly between them.He wants her and when they both get stranded at his ranch they both give into the chemistry.
Jasmin's sunshiny nature eventually melts Brody's frosty heart and they work things out and get to their happily ever after.
Enjoyed the banter and chemistry between these two and all the supporting characters were wonderful.
Cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

When the Grinch meets little miss Christmas Spirit!
The Sugarplum Falls series is some of my favorite books to read for vibing into Christmas. Samantha Baca definitely hit the nail on the head with this one.
Jasmin’s never faltering attitude, when she could have thrown in the towel or gave us a woe is me attitude, was highly refreshing and kept the Christmas enthusiasm pushing right on through.
It wasn’t until I began reflecting on the story that I realized how much of a cinnamon roll Brody really is. My gut reaction was purely Grinch and jerk. But for him, it’s the behind the scenes things he does and the way he shows he cares versus saying a lot of it out loud.
The push-and-pull, the banter, the forced proximity, and the spice all came together perfectly!
I absolutely loved this book and series!! This fictional town sounds like so much fun!! Sugarplum Falls is the epitome of a Christmas town!! Jasmin is the curator of the towns holiday festival namely Frost Fest. Every year she takes on the task of getting everything together for it, only one problem she isn't so sure that she will be able to secure the main attraction!! Brody has just come back to town after his grandfather passed away, so that he could settle things at the farm. He hated everything about being back in this town.. Until he met his match with Jasmin.. If you want to know more go and one click this awesome story along with all the others this series!! You willfully in love withrhis town just like did!! Bravo Samantha Baca
Samantha Baca has done it again and succeeded in getting me in the mood for Autumn and the Christmas season! She has also cemented her place as the Queen of the Snowed-In Holiday Romance! This is book 5 in the Sugarplum Falls series, which can be read as a standalone, but it's so fun reading about this Christmassy town knowing all the characters and how they run their annual festival that brings the town together at Christmas. Sugarplum Falls is right out of a cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie and I just want to live there! Brody comes to the town lacking that Christmas spirit, and Jasmine is just the girl to show him what it's all about and simply melts his ice cold heart 💙
OMG!! I laughed so much in this book!! The banter between Jasmin and Brody was sometimes unbelievable!! Definitely a Grumpy/Sunshine, Christmassy spirit story to get you geared up for that time of the year!! You'll be hooked from the beginning, love the small town charm, intermingling of other characters, (Don't worry it's all explan to where you understand). I loved their chemistry, fabulously fun series, laugh out loud antics and moments, entertaining story line, engaging characters, heat level spicy!! The sandwich scene… my favorite!!!😉 Definitely 5stars!!

I loved this book! It was so funny and so good! I will never look at sandwiches the same ever again, lol! This forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers book was seriously entertaining. It was a great addition to the Sugarplum Falls universe. It did have some moments that gave me some seriously feels and I think all good stories do that. Where the storyline moves well and the characters grab your attention but also hits you in the heart. I cannot wait for more to come. Samantha knocked it out of the park with this one; for sure!
I love Christmas books, and this was absolutely hilarious. We have a grumpy/sunshine situation that arises after the death of the town reindeer rancher. His grandson Brody is anti Christmas and isn't willing to help Jasmin, the Frosty Fest organizer, have them. Things get spicy when she travels to his ranch to convince him to help, only to be stuck there, literally and figuratively during a blizzard. I love that Brody calls her Princess for many reasons and finally caves. There is a hilarious sandwich situation that occurs, and I finished with a smile on my face.
This book has a hallmark feel with lots of Christmas magic. Brody and Jasmin are adorable together. The banter between them is non stop. I love how the magic is done in a realistic way while still being one in a million. If you love snowed in spicy Christmas books check this one out!

This is book 5 in Baca's Sugarplum Falls series and can be read as a standalone, but I love this addition to the series and there are some characters from previous reads that make appearances. That said, this book is the sweet journey of our main characters Jasmin and Brody. A storyline that gives holiday hallmark vibes in all the best ways. Well written, short but captivating and promises to leave you heart warmed and happy.

I am loving the Sugarplum Falls series! This book follows Jasmin and Brody. Brody is such a grumpy man in the beginning when Jasmin wants to use the reindeer for the holiday festival. Overtime, I love how Brody gave in, after Jasmin was determined to get it. It was so nice seeing how their relationship grew overtime throughout the book. I loved how Jasmin listened to Brody about the gift that his father left for him and was able to get it back for them. Their relationship was wonderful, and I am glad it ended the way it did with a HEA.
I love holiday stories and this novella is perfect.
Brody reminds me of the Scrooge or the Grinch, lol even my husband, not a holiday type person but Jasmine shows him just how the Christmas spirit is supposed to be.
If you enjoy Christmas shows, books or the Hallmark movies, you will love Blame It on the Reindeer!
The story was cute, steamy and a hallmark movie all wrapped into one. Brody and Jasmin seemed an unlikely pair as he was a grumpy grinch and she was a Christmas ray of sunshine, but fate had other plans. This was a lovely feel good read. I received a copy from Booksirens and leave my review voluntarily.
I'm voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. I loved the banter between Jasmin and Brody and how being stuck together during a snow storm got them together. It was good how Jasmin revived his Christmas spirit. The return of a special gift allows the last of Brody's barriers to come down so he can stay and give into the love for Jasmin and Christmas.
This is such a cute grumpy/sunshine small town Christmas story! Jasmin and Brody can’t help their attraction to one another and their witty banter is hilarious! I will also never look at mayonnaise the same way again! IYKYK This book is filled with sweet and spicy moments and they are adorable together! Love the rest of the townspeople too!
I loved this grumpy x sunshine, enemies to lovers, snowed in holiday novella. loved Brody and Jasmine from the first page. Their banter was *chef's kiss* and this book is not lacking when it comes to the spice. I love Samantha Baca's Sugarplum Falls series. It has the hallmark Christmas vibes you want from a holiday novella and the spice that keeps you hooked.
I liked this story. I really enjoy Samantha’s short Novelas. They’re always heartwarming and you feel so good after you’ve listened to them. They make me laugh. I get chill bumps with emotions and sometimes I tear up. This book was just as good as all the others. I liked how cranky Brody was and how Jasmine just didnt care. The story moves quickly but it works and the sexy scenes are spicy!!!
oh my word i was wanting a christmas halmark style story and i got it! Another win for the sugarplum falls books. Im in love with Jasmin and Brody ! The entire town, the main characters. All of the addition to everyone always makes for a wonderful story. A must read any time of the year
I loved this book! I love the grumpy/sunshine trope and this one did not disappoint. It had me giggling and even tearing up. For such a quick read, it was very emotional. Loved the steam, the banter, the characters. Can't wait to read more in this series!
This book is cute. It’s Hallmark Christmas vibes with some spice. Has gets stuck and Finn has to save her. They have one bed and some snowed in fun while being grumpy/sunshine. It is a cute holiday read. I received an ARC for an honest review.
Another holiday hit! Jasmin and Brody have the best banter and a little bit of spice. All of the Sugarplum Falls books are such light hearted reads that give you all the feels. Jasmin and Brody were no different!
Details are so vivid, I could see Jasmin hanging on that fence post. And do not get me started on Brody making the sandwich! Whew! Gotta love a parade that starts with reindeer. Great characters, good story, snowed in … wonderful read! ❤️💚
