This has everything a career retrospective should have: great pictures and memorabilia, quotes from family and friends and teammates and competitors, stories both famous and unknown. A fantastic book for Royals fans.

Solid autobiography of one of modern baseball's all time greatest players. Disagree? Just remember he got 98% of the fickle Hall of Fame Vote on his first year of eligibility. Ninety-Eight-Percent. A must read for all baseball historians and Kansas City Royals fans.

Basically a coffee table book. While I enjoyed reading through it, it is no by mean a definitive piece on George Brett. Some great anecdotes and interesting tidbits, but not likely worth your time unless you're a KC fan or baseball junkie like myself.
