I'm sure I've bought and read several editions of this great little collection of Aussie facts and shared them with family and visitors.
I was just asked today if it was still available, but it seems it hasn't been out since 2006 or so. They had wonderfully colourful covers (I must see if I can still find one of mine), and some of the information would still be apt.
This is one from 1995:
The Aussie slang is still slang, although it's getting more Amercanised, I fear, but we still drive beaut utes and enjoy barbies in the arvo with schooners and middies.*
I wonder if anyone has written a new one. It's been ten years- time for an update!
