Kellina Kilts was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma and reared in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Norwalk High School and has a Bachelor's Degree with a focus in business from Buena Vista University. Her passion to become an author did not reveal itself until a good friend convinced her to write about an idea for a story she had conveyed to her friend at age 27. As she sat down to write the series Angel of Hell, the story suddenly took a life of its own, causing her to rework the first novel multiple times. Angel of Hell was finally published in March of 2014 (17 years after she started writing it!)
Kellina attribute Star Wars: Return of the Jedi for inspiring her novel with the belief than even the most evil of all the villains, Darth Vader, had the potential to be turned to the "light". She currently lives in Mason City, Iowa and enjoys writing about inspirational subjects as well as fantasy.
