Good as a directory for primary sources. I liked the preface by the author on how to use this book, and his acknowledgment of any biases he might have. As someone who has been deep-diving into Catholic theology and the thoughts of patristic Church leaders such as Origen, the selected pieces from their writings regarding points of disagreement between Catholics and Protestants (such as the veneration of Saints & teachings on Mary) seemed a bit sparse. But like I said, since all the primary sources are referenced, I am using this book as a jumping-off point to do some independent research.
PSA: I am by no means attempting to say that the author intentionally omitted writings he disagrees with, like I said, I respect the preface he made at the beginning of the book.
Also for transparency's sake, I haven't read the *entire* book, mainly because it is in has a dictionary/encyclopedia format and I don't see the need to read it cover-to-cover.
