While this book is a bit dated now, it was truly a great read. I especially enjoyed seeing such a collection of photos from Titanic and learning about many things I would have never even thought of. It was also interesting to read something written prior to James Cameron's Titanic movie release.
I only have two gripes about reading this book:
1.) The book itself was cumbersome to hold (it's heavy, and is in landscape orientation) 2.) The special columns throughout the book interfered with the layout and ease of reading. The main book passages would be interrupted abruptly when you turned the page. For example: you could be reading about the specifications of the ship, you flip the page, and suddenly you're reading a 2 page spread about recreational activities the passengers partook while aboard. I had to flip back and forth for continuity of passages.
In all, if you have an interest in Titanic at all, I highly recommend checking this book out.
