Had to read this for my 6th grade class. Not a very exciting or rewarding adaptation

Delightful twist on Sherlock Holmes told through the eyes of two orphans who want to become Baker Street Irregulars (even if they were never the most fashionable of clubs).

Sherlockians will immediately recognize what Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story this mimics, but it's still worth a read. Some lovely illustrations with a Jeremy Brett-ish Holmes. You know -- this guy:

Yes, this is for kids but this 45-year-old enjoyed it.
