From Failure to Fearless: Still Completely Flawed BUT Thriving Fearlessly

Rate this book
What if you could learn how to create a fearless and successful future while embracing your failures and flaws? And what if all it would take was a quick $3 read? Would you take the chance to change your life and bring your dreams to the forefront?

In this quick and easy read, I show you how I went from being a "bodyrub phone girl" (this industry is considered prostitution in most states) to a fearless entrepreneur all while still being completely flawed. I am only human, just like you.

* I discuss how Oprah's Harpo Studios, Vanessa Williams, Suze Orman, Jillian Michaels, and so many more people and situations personally helped me through my journey as an entrepreneur.
* You will be inspired and empowered, hopefully learning from all of my massive failures and flaws.
* It is an easy read - about 40 pages! I like to get to the point without all the fluff that most books have.
* I lay out my massive failures and flaws (which is not easy to do - a completely vulnerable place to be) and the lessons of how I overcame.
* But most importantly, you will learn how you can reinvent the way you look at failures and embrace your flaws to create a fearless, ass-kicking future that can be applied to both business and life.

I am an entrepreneur going through my own journey, but I really identified with Kisha Mays experiences where ‘failure’ is concerned. She beings the book by giving you an honest insight into her own upbringing and I must say that she has been through a lot at a very young age, including bankruptcy in her 20’s!

Despite this, finds a way to pursue her dreams no matter what by mastering fear! This is a book that will inspire and motivate you to continue regardless of setbacks and unexpected problems. She manages to pull off some of the most inspirational events, despite some brick walls and reputation damaging occurrences.

If you are somebody who is currently in the process of trying to pursue your goals, or have been experiencing setbacks, this book is definitely an important read to get that fire back in to your belly! By taking on board lessons from Kishas life that can be applied to your own and noting her true conviction and fearlessness to succeed, you will remember that anything is possible if you power through the testing times!

This is a truly honest and inspirational piece of literature and I will be recommending this book to friends that are currently on their journey to success!

From Failure to Fearless is by far one of the most uplifting and motivating books that I have read in a very long, long time. I love how the author shares her real life examples and then breaks them down so that readers can learn from them and apply the practicality of each example to their own journey to success; it's different than most other motivating books due to the fact that you can instantly picture the advice in a realistic setting, which is very important for me personally, as It caused me to rethink my own failures and how I could overcome them while I was reading through the book.

The main thing that stood out to me about this book besides the fantastic information is the genuine, conversational tone that the author incorporates into her writing; it makes the book enjoyable to read, as opposed to feeling 'chore-like' which many similar books seem to feel like.

Overall, it's definitely worth the read for two reasons; the first being that it has some GREAT advice that is actually practical, and the second is that it's actually a pleasurable and smooth read - really the 'best of both worlds', if you ask me.

When I read this book introduction I know that this book will be read in one go
"Basically, you wind up feeling like a failure, and so instead of giving it another go
– you simply make a promise to yourself that will get it right next year. And year after year, the same
pattern repeats"
I felt so sympathetic to this sentence. all those promises I made to myself, and yet It seems like I'm not moving fwd.
The examples in chapter 4 about Making Things Happen as a One-Woman Show, really changed my perspective on things.
overall, a very good book

I honestly don't want to leave a bad review because I did enjoy her story. So instead I'll say this. This book is more of a biography than anything else, you will not learn anything other than some simple "go for it" quotes. The editing was poorly done and it was a bit difficult to read. The entire book cod have been condensed into a two page article. If you are looking to learn some business essential, this is not it. I'm very disappointed and felt like I wasted my money.

Light on details

But a short read to encourage you to go for it. Regular, flawed people can make a big impact. Definitely needs proofreading though.

Brilliant idea, flawed execution. I was buoyed up by the author's journey, the book though could have benefitted from a thorough editing.
