I was lucky to get an ARC for this, it’s my first book by this author, but this will be an honest review.

This was a great concept, something unique I haven’t read before. Maverick finds his mate only to learn she’s married and blood vowed to someone else. While it says it’s standalone, I had difficulty understanding the blood vows and how they worked between humans. It was supposed to stop the mate bond but didn’t. Anyway I was left confused about this and just accepted it.

I enjoyed the writing, I wanted to love the story, but I don’t think Maverick got a HEA and I was hoping beyond hope no matter how futile he would get a second chance mate who wasn’t Lorely.

First he’s supposed to be a warrior. He’s really a golden retriever. He lets his mate and her husband disrespect him, he cries ALL the time, he lets them make jokes about him being a dog, a puppy, and taking him for walks like a pet. In the end they’re still calling him a dog and Maverick is hoping the second child isn’t his because he’s afraid Rex will treat it terribly.

Maverick’s POV:
{ Fuck. What had he done? He should’ve never agreed to this, never agreed to having a child with her. He would grow up a rogue in a house where he would be treated like nothing more than the family pet.}

How is that a good life? My heart 💔 for Maverick constantly making concessions for his mate.

Rex man…I could understand his anger, but he constantly blamed Maverick for something he had no control over and I think the author was going for at least a civil relationship at the end but didn’t quite get there. He has his daughter making jokes about taking Maverick out for a walk. Maybe it was supposed to be funny, it missed the mark for me.

Lorely…she upset me the most. She let Maverick get treated awfully by Rex, taunted him with sex in front of him, denied him a child initially and when her and Mav finally had one special place and memory to call their own she brought Rex there and he just asserted his claim on her again. I hated how she treated Maverick.

In the end it’s the story of Maverick, who got stuck in a crappy mate bond he wasn’t allowed to complete fully because Rex might get upset and how he bent over backwards to keep his mate. I just wasn’t a fan. The smut was also very repetitive, while steamy, it was the same position (spit roasting) for every group scene.

I’ll definitely try other books by this author though, I just didn’t like any of these characters and didn’t feel satisfaction with the ending.

Overall a good book, but i wouldn't say its my favourite, more because i felt it could be spicier. I was frustrated with the dynamic of the MMC and the FMC. This is a personal preference because i maybe would have liked to see more passion? When i read "why choose", or MFM stories, i expect more heightened emotions. This story seemed too realistic and too mature, for me, but ultimately didnt really sit right with me. Despite that, it was a good story, and enjoyable especially if you are looking for MMF stories from a different perspective than the norm.

I really disliked how Mav was treated. It really bothered me how they called him a Dog and treated him like a pet. The smut scenes were subpar, same position for all the group scenes.

DNF @ 12%.

I can't stand the FMC and her husband. They are so rude and nasty to the MMC (Maveric) for absolutely no reason (since no one can help who they have a mate bond with).

FMC even let her husband call the MMC a dog numerous times.

Besides all that, the story isn't catching my attention.

I enjoyed this book, but not as much as I thought I would. I really like Lorely and the strong/bada$$ female hunter vibe of her character. The premise of the book was also very interesting with a wolf’s human mate being bonded to another human through marriage and a binding ceremony. I also really liked Maveric, the things he had to overcome and the sacrifices he was willing to make to respect Lorely were huge and he gave up so much to be with her.

I really did not like Rex. At the beginning of the book, I could excuse his behavior because it would really suck to have the love of your life mated to someone else. I do think he made some sacrifices for Lorely and gave up his vision of life to make her happy, BUT he did so while completely disrespecting Maveric. Even at the end of the book he still called him names and treated him poorly. Maybe the thought was at the end of the book it was more of a “joke”? I just don’t think that was portrayed very well if that was the intention.

Sharing His Mate was a fabulous read as a Beta read but even better since. The story itself brings out deep emotions and you find yourself emphatetic towards all three MC's not only one of them as many other shifter stories. The journey they go through together is well detailed and the emotions are built up in a very realistic time frame.

The book is well written in multiple point of view and whilst it's book 4 of the Marked by Fate series, it still has enough explanation and word building that it can be read a standalone.

My only negative feeling about the whole book is that I could only read it once for the first time ever… I wish I could go back in time and experience it again and again for the first time.

Thank you Tanja for sending me this book for Beta and ARC reading, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm hoping to see more of this world as the time passes. It's never enough when it comes to your writing!

Fated mate with a twist, I really enjoyed the book overall. I wasn’t and still am not the biggest fan of Rex. I get why he’s upset but at the same time Maveric couldn’t help the situation they found themselves in. I lovedddddd Lorely 😍 The character development and world building in this was 🤌🏼 this started off a little slow but then I found myself not being able to put it down. Loved the spice 🥵 If MFM, why-choose, shifter romance is your thing this is a must read.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I love how the storyline is so different from the others. The two males relationships throughout the book were a little redundant but still a good read. I like how your books will make me mad and sad, but I still couldn't put it down.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. In all honesty I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I thought Maverics character was week. He almost seemed like a doormat at times. I can understand some of the emotions they had but Maveric didn't have a choice either like they made it seem at times. I also didn't like how the referenced him to "dog" or "little puppy" if it wasn't for that I think I would have like this book a whole lot more.

Has a good enough plot but there was alot going on. The spice though loved it and the use of props only made it better 👏 the nickname towards mav really bothered me though and it never really changes which is upsetting.

Great story for fans of shifter/human love story! I was fortunate to get an ARC copy of this but really recommend giving it a go when it's released!

Really enjoyed this read, and the concept behind it. The world concept worked really well for me- the fact that the supernatural world exists, but only specific humans know of their existence, and often try to hunt them really added to it

l enjoyed the writing style, each chapter having a Character focus but still being written in the third person. The character were easy to distinguish in speech and while some concepts were harder to accept (Maveric not being more offended at being called a dog ) it never took away from the plot or character development.

The book had me giggling, feeling angry both at and for characters as well as happy and was overall a great read!

I received this book for my honest opinion.

In this book you will meet Maveric, he is the youngest son in the Dagger Wolves and with that it meant that he would not have to become alpha. Instead he got to live his life as a warrior of his clan and wait until the day that his mate's bond would snap into place. The unmated wolves have gotten together this year in different location to see if they can find their mates, and this supposed to be the happiest time in their lives, but for Maveric he doesn’t see it as the happiest time of his life because his mate doesn’t want anything to do with him. Why, well because she is already married and shares a bond with her husband. Can Maveric, Lorely and her husband Rex make this connection work for them or will Lorely and Maveric have to live the rest of their lives without their other half?

This book was great, I loved the paranormal romance stories that Longoria wrote. Not just because they’re about wolves and getting their HEA, but because of the author's way of writing. She knows how to give you just the right amount of information throughout the book that you will not have an info dump, she knows when to add the drama/action and when to let the story of the characters play out. I found that this story was different since we have a huntress(human) who is already married and is now bonded to a wolf. In this book you will have multiple POV’s, which I found really helpful when getting to understand how all the characters were really feeling about everything that was changing in their lives. I also found that it was easy to connect with the characters because I know that I would have felt the same emotions that they were all feeling if that was me and I was going through it. I enjoyed the characters' growth throughout the book and to see the changes that Rex went through and seeing how much he loved his wife and understood what this would mean for their family. This book has a lot of emotions in it, I was happy for them, sad/heartbroken at times, I also couldn’t stop laughing at the banter that Maveric and Rex had together. Now for the fun part, the spicy scenes in the book had me blushing a few times. I am happy to see that Maveric and Rex finally found a good place in their relationship with Lorely and learned how to work together to make sure that they both were making sure that she was taken care of and understanding that they both would be in her life until death.

I love that when you read any of her books you will feel as though you’re there with the characters. I know that this is part of a series but don’t worry you can read it as a standalone, but if I was you would read the other books as well.

I want to thank BookSirens and Tanja Longoria for the opportunity to review this book .

I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately but I love omegaverse and apparently I am fully in my shifter era 😂. This book is not an omegaverse style book and for that matter is unlike most shifter novels I've read as well. I'm starting to really like reading different world building and seeing what makes up each of these universes. For example, we have alphas but no knotting. @tanjalongoria does a wonderful job setting up this world! I understood pack dynamics as well as the different bonds, what role hunters play, etc...
The quick breakdown of this book is that one of our MMCs is a young alpha in his pack and discovers his mate is a human (and a hunter no less!) that is already bonded to another human and is very much in love with him. This book is fully about how all three characters deal with this and figure out how they can all have their HEA with each other. This is a MFM romance and is actually probably the most realistic one I've read, with the MMCs figuring it out as they go, how best to make this work with Lorely, the FMC. I love that the MMCs are two totally different people. Mav is an absolute cinnamon roll, so sweet and also adorably naive and inexperienced. I love that I still get my touch her and die alphahole from Rex 😂. Lorely is a great FMC, a strong and very badass huntress.
*The few illustrated pages were a fun surprise!*
My only additional comment is that I wish there was more of a secondary storyline. This really was all about their family dynamics, and while I fully enjoyed this entire story, and the spice was 🔥, I would have loved more plot points, or some more hunts with higher stakes.

3.75☆ I had a hard time identifying with the characters at times. I felt like Mav was sometimes too sweet and understanding. He felt more submissive than alpha. I wanted him to be more assertive about his thoughts, feelings and boundaries. It kind of felt like he just took anything just to say he had her, meanwhile the other 2 seemed to blame him for things out of his control and were so mean, unsympathetic and at times although he didn't seem to care, the puppy/pet comments got old and condescending to me. I wasn't a fan, and spent the majority of the book feeling like he was constantly mistreated. I understood Rex's situation and why he had such hostility, so for the most part I didn't begrudge him, but Lorely's actions and words sometimes just bugged me so much I had a hard time liking her. Like when she told Mav she didn't want his kid, and didn't understand why he was crying and the full extent of the pain she was always causing after rubbing certain things in his face after pushing him away. I was hoping by the time Harriet came around that they would all be a bit more cohesive and have a better relationship but Rex's reaction to mavs relationship with her was sad and disappointing. I was glad he was better with Henry but wish the parentage was less seperative. I did like that Lorely wasn't some timid doormat or damsel in distress. The pictures were a interesting surprise, I loved the relationships with Mavs family, and I really liked the epilogues. The storyline kept you interested, the characters sparked different emotions, overall it was a good read.

This book broke me…the heartbreak of finding your mate, only to see she’s married and bonded to another. The trials the characters go through, the anger and resentment - it’s agonizing. So many times I felt tears well in my eyes.

𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘔𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭 𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘥, 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘦’𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥.

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺’𝘥 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘷𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.

Maveric can’t ignore the mate bond so he seeks out Lorely, and in turn her husband. They open their home to him - against Rex’s better judgement because he absolutely despises Mav - and they get to know each other. Mav’s jealousy and inner turmoil while he watches Lorely and Rex live their life broke my heart.

𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦?

𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮. 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴… 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.

Rex was irrationally angry over everything, which is to be expected but he couldn’t see past the tip of his nose. Neither Mav nor Lorely could help it, it was fated. They go through so much to find their way to each other, but in the end, the love they have was worth it all.

𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘦. 𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘯𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘵.

I cried, I laughed, I got angrier than hell at times but I loved the story. I did feel it was rushed a little at the end…and the second epilogue didn’t really fit, but overall it was good! The spicy scenes were 3/5 ☆, heated and emotional! Especially when they’re all three together. It’s really the only time the two MMC’s actually work together.

This is the third book by Tanja I have read, and while it wasn't my favorite, I still had a hard time putting it down!

Maveric has waited and waited to find his mate. On a trip out with his pack, he finally feels that pull. When he follows it, he learns it's towards a woman who Hunts rogues. But not only is she a huntress, she's also married. And they have a blood oath together.

Lorely hates not having a choice, so when she feels the bond, she hates everything about it. She tries to avoid Maveric but the bond makes it hard to stay away, for both of them. Her husband, Rex, hates absolutely everything about Maveric and let's him know every possible second.

I personally love Lorely. She is a strong bad@$$ but slowly learns and accepts Maveric. Their journey is very touching and just makes me giddy. I understand Rex's feelings, who wants to share their wife? But even after they get along, i feel like hes trying too hard to keep a grudge. Like, it's been years and you accepted Lorely's choice but still make rude comments often.

This author is becoming my "palette cleanser" if you will. When I need a break from all the intense, high, romantasy books, her books are cute and easily capture me. Maybe it's just the omegaverse, I don't know, but I have yet to find a book by Tanja that I don't like yet.

The fact that his mate was married and in love, plus a huntress was a really nice twist. I wasn’t expecting Maverick to be so willing to be so submissive considering he’s a wolf and an alphas son at that, but I also loved how maturely he began to handle things as the book went on. Honestly at times my heart hurt for Maverick throughout a pretty good chunk of the book due to Lorely’s and Rex’s treatment of him. It really felt like they spent a pretty good chunk of the book blaming Maverick for a choice he wasn’t able to make, even after he explains his goddess iris choses their mates. There were also times I felt like even Maverick was blaming himself for the bond as if he had any control over his goddess. Honestly this was probably one of the most realistic MFM books I’ve ever read, with both men struggling to work out their differences but trying to do so for her. I loved how much lore was explained, despite them spending very little time with the wolf packs. The few pieces of fanart included were also a really nice touch!! It had a little less spice than I was expecting but overall it was still pretty good.

Ok so I really like this author but I didn’t particularly like some things in this book.

I feel like Rex had absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Even when he had intimate scenes with Lorely on his own, their connection didn’t seem enough to me. The backstory of how they met and got together wasn’t romantic. It made it sound like they just got together and made a blood pact for the sake of not being a forced mate.

I felt so bad for Maverick. Not only was he fated to mate a hunter, but also one married to a jerk. Honestly, all the “dog” references and insults thrown his way were too much. Like they never stopped. Even Lorely. And even though some passages made it seem like he was okay being called a “little pup” by her.. I feel like if she really felt that mate bond, she would have known how offensive it was and stopped herself and Rex from being so hurtful. Maverick was cheated out of a real mate bond.

I give the story 4 stars instead of 3 because everything else in the book was cool. The interactions with Mav’s family and the hunting scenes with the vampires were all good. I just didn’t like the dynamic between the 3 main characters.

#SharingHisMate by Tanja Longoria, book 4 of the #StandAloneSeries #FatedMates!

Maveric is a younger son of the Dagger Wolves Alpha. Much of his life is regimented and controlled as a result. To break loose, and try to find their mates, younger Wolves from various packs have been gathering together in hopes of their bonds snapping into place. During one such trip this happens for Maveric. Unfortunately the woman the Goddess foresaw being part of the pair is already married, and with a blood bond to boot!

Lorely hates the idea of the bond (at first) and is conflicted for the sake of her partner, Rex. Rex, wants nothing to do with this whole also recognizing the situation isn't Lorely's fault- it's Maverick's🤣😂!

The three must navigate relationship and family turmoil. Find their footing, while allowing for Lorely and Rex's hunter lifestyle (as much as it pains Maveric). They also have to deal with some pretty heavy implications of Lorely and Maveric being mated.

You're in for a ride!

1. 4 1/2 stars - This was my first book by this writer, and I found the story interesting and well written, and I enjoyed reading this copy I'd received in this reverse romance paranormal. The characters were likable, the drama intense, and the romance was steamy in this engaging story.
2. This story is about Lorely a human huntress who was married to Rex a hunter and Maveric a werewolf alpha. Maveric along with his group of unmated males are traveling to different cities to look for their mate. Maveric and his group are at a club when a group of hunters arrive. He senses his mate nearby and scans the club but she's not inside, so he goes outside and sees her on a motorcycle, and the bond begins. Then a male hunter joins her and her feels the blood bond and he discover he; her husband and he know that she's been mate bonded with Maveric. Then they enter the club sitting with the other hunters, her husband Rex gives hands-off looks to Maveric who joins his group. Then Lorely walks to Maveric's table and tells him she'll find a way to break it. Will Maveric be able to persuade Lorely to include him as her mate?

While I love the whole fated mates aspect, and the fact that she was a human huntress, and already married, gave this a nice twist. There was so much angst and spice that I enjoyed so much!

While I loved that Lorely was this strong FMC, I felt like the guys were put in as complete polar opposites. Maverick was a warrior and an Alpha’s son, yet he was completely submissive toward Lorely and her husband, Rex. While Rex was a total douche canoe!!

And before y’all come after me… Yes, I realize they were not expecting or happy about the mate bond after being married for so long. But I felt like they were all punishing Maverick for it when it wasn’t even his fault (including Maverick himself).

Ok, rant over lol Even with the things I mentioned before, I still enjoyed reading this and am honored to have been part of the advanced reader copy group that received this and am leaving my honest review voluntarily. And I encourage everyone to read this when it makes its debut!! Enjoy!

Definitely recommend this book if you love an amazing plot, character growth, and lots of steam! You never know what expect when diving into a new book or author. But this one was a great introduction. I was fully invested by chapter 3, and by mid book I could not put it down until I finished it. The character growth was what I loved most about the book. Though it's set in a world of mystical beings, it has the struggles and obstacles of what people face everyday. The decisions people have to make to not only make their lives better but the sacrifices you make to bring happiness to those around you. There were a few tear jerking moments, moments were I couldn't stop laughing, and of course the hot steamy scenes that had my mouth dropping open. It's a well written story that makes you feel like you are there in the room with them, and in some cases, feels like you are them. Experiencing their feelings of love and angst.

Ok, so, I mostly enjoyed this different take on multiple mates, but I u nearly didn't like the way they treated Mav ALL through out the book. Calling him a dog, or a puppy and making derogatory comments about him.
And blaming him for the goddesses choice of mate.
I liked the book but, that just seemed cruel.
I could understand it at the beginning of the relationship, and I can sorta guess.that maybe the author meant it to come across as more in a joking matter but, I didn't feel that way.
I do like that both guys loved Lil May, and put her needs above their own.
One thing though, and I'm not sure why, but when the dev nd baby came, Mac had all these worries about him being treated the way.Mac was being treated, and when we learn who's baby it is, the author didn't elaborate on if the child was or wasn't treated differently.
I'm being evasive so I don't give too much away.
Anyway, I stole one star for my concerns but all in all it's a cute read.

This was my first book by this author. The concept/tropes pulled me in. The blurb sealed the deal for me and is 100% what made me read this book.

I’m a sucker for a paranormal romance ESPECIALLY fated mates. I was very interested to see how this would play out and I was very happy with how it was done.

Mav stole my heart from the beginning. He’s just so loveable. Lorely and Rex had to win me over, especially Rex; he was such a fucknugget and I wanted to smack him so many times!

In the beginning you think that this won’t end well but by the end you realize that it ends perfectly.

The only reasons that this wasn’t a 5 star read is there were times I was taken out of the story due to word choices, some character development, and choices that didn’t work for me. This definitely could be someone else’s 5 star read as reading, reviewing, and rating books is subjective to each reader.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this. This is my honest review that I’m leaving voluntarily.

This book was a quick enough read, focusing on the relationship between the three people and growing into an epic romance and a great happily ever after. It’s a light read - there isn’t too much of a story line. It really focuses on feelings. The conversations feel stilted, not natural, but it didn’t ruin things for me. The book has a lot of spicy scenes, those were well written and it was easy to keep track of who was who and who was doing what. The characters stay kind of the same, I really like the FMC. The main guys are the jerk and the sweet pushover lol. Overall, it’s a cute story heavy on the spice! I got an arc and am leaving a review of my own volition.

This book was good and not what you would expect from a why choose fated mate book. The struggles in the beginning with the jealousy and the judgment weren't the best and did make me wonder how it would turn out to be a good situation. But overall, I really did enjoy the book and would definitely say give it a shot if you like twists and turns in books that keep you wondering and guessing because this book did that! I will definitely be reading more from this author in the near future because this was a great book! Definitely could have been spicier, but I like to read things of common themes but completely different outlooks and takes on those themes, so this was great!

I was looking forward to this book. It was well written and thought out story. Lots of depth and growth with the characters. It has lots of tropes that I usually really like. I am not sure what I didn't like specifically about the book, but it just didn't grab me. I just think it wasn't for me. I kept waiting for more drauma or a bad situation to happen with the hunting or families and felt it was just missing something. The relationships just felt forced and frustrating most of the time. I can get the tension at the start, but I wanted them to get along better and to feel more chemistry.

I received this book as an ARC copy

This was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. These characters were torn between lovers and they didn’t know how to approach in this moment. She was torn between to handsome guys and she was one woman who were sexually attracted to both of them. The feeling was all over the place like a rollercoaster ride. Who will she choose to be her soul mate.

I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed.

I had the opportunity to receive an arc of Sharing his Mate for free, and it was absolutely amazing to go on their journey. I'm not usually the biggest fan of 3rd person pov, but it was completely perfect. It was very well written with very few typos or mistakes. Their story was so unbelievably beautiful from beginning to end, and I teared up more than once. The forbidden love, enemies to lovers trope was thicccc with this book, and I enjoyed all of it. It gave me a bit of Supernatural vibes mixed with heavy romance. Their story was absolutely beautiful with their levels of acceptance, especially at the end of the book. Fantastic read. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. 5/5 🌶🌶🌶
