I really enjoyed this third book in the series about Jillian. Jillian is older and more mature in this book and her adventures, relationships and thoughts are well written and completely engrossing. Barb has painted a captivating picture of various mountains, trails, rivers and hiking paths. A background of landscapes that draws the reader in, enticing us to go enjoy these sites ourselves. I loved the start, middle and end of this read! Thank you for sharing Jillian with us and I would love to see a book 4.

Jillian of Banff by Barbara Baker is my third Jillian read. The protagonist continues to navigate her challenging teen years in this insightful coming-of-age story set in the beautiful Canadian town of Banff and the wilderness around it. As with the first two stories, my heart went out to Jillian. She is a likeable character whose life circumstances are ever changing. These events keep the reader turning the pages to see how Jillian will manage them and her emotions. I found myself cheering for her and I look forward to the next installment to see how her character develops.

I loved this book! It was amazing to witness Jillian’s evolution through the three books and I really hope that there’s a fourth book - I NEED more Jillian!!! I read this book in just over a day and it was really great. The author captured challenges that teens go through effortlessly while also showing the characters changing maturity. The descriptions of Banff were flawless and I could easily picture myself on the slopes of sunshine or hiking to Skoki

Reading Barb’s books is like listening to her tell a story. I feel like I’m there with her character Jillian, & she is a character.
