This isn't a bad book, but I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I did the previous one (understanding basic electronics). The authors were dealing with a complex subject, and did a good job, but things were more high-level than I had been hoping for. (For reference, I was hoping for more details on the specifics of actual signal processing and filter design. I probably should have just picked up a signal processing book.)
