“There can be no dillydallying around with the commands of Christ. We are engaged in warfare, the issue of which are life and death, and every day that we are indifferent to our responsibilities is a day lost to the cause of Christ.”

“Here finally is where we must all evaluate the contribution that our life and witness is making to the supreme purpose of Him who is the Savior of the world.”

This book was such a blast to read, but most importantly, it gave me a completely different perspective of not only evangelism but also discipleship. Jesus’ way of evangelism was truly “simple” but even in its simplicity I have personally failed to even notice many of the aspects involved in it and especially to live them out.

This book was a gift and it has truly fueled my desire to continue to do ministry and to approach ministry from a different angle. Coleman does an amazing job at pointing out the ways that the Church has fallen short of evangelism and makes convicting arguments backed by scripture. Would absolutely recommend!

“This is the new evangelism we need. It is not better methods, but better men and women who know their Redeemer from personal experience - men and women who see His vision and feel His passion for the world - men and women who are willing to be nothing so that He might be everything - men and women who want only for Christ to produce His life in and through them according to His own pleasure.”

A must read and one that I read every year. It will inspire you to make your life about discipleship. And discipleship that is focused and intentional. Discipleship that will change the world if we follow in the footsteps of our Master.

I loved this short little book. It follows Jesus and his relationship with is disciples and shows how Jesus models evangelism and discipleship. It is incredibly practical and great at casting a vision for what evangelism after Christ example looks like. Big fan
