I don't know when I've sat down and read a book in one day. But this one kept me reading from page one to the end. I wonder where the author did his research. The story brings to light how easy it is for pastors to get caught up in the fame and glory of all the attention they get. I thought this story would start out with the pastor just starting his career. But the way the story is told is unique to me. The author uses a series of interviews and different points of view. It's like the pastor has already fallen and the investigation is in progress. Of course, in the end, God wins. I believe that all ministers should read this book. It shows how easy it is to go "off the rails" for God. If you look deep enough, you can see ways to avoid the pitfalls. I could see so many pastors I have known fall into this category. And I also know many who know how to stay focused on God, but it take intentionality.

Excellent read. Started out a little slow but then took off! Thought provoking with a lot of suspense.
