The Spider loses his fortune and has to learn to fight without his network of operatives. To be honest, The Spider is kind of a dummy. He falls into a lot of obvious traps. Luckily he's good at shooting his way out of them.

It was sadly mid
A little bit of a spoiler warning!
I think the first two volumes were great! I really fell in love with this character and how he does things, despite being way too young to actually read the pulps. I was really excited for this 3rd volume as the second one left off really well and was setting so much up, David Liss was setting something up, you didn’t know exactly what The Fly’s endgame was, but you knew it was gonna be pretty cool, or so I thought. It was also very refreshing to have a villain that doesn’t have anything, but smarts and he was a really cool character and nice villain for the spider. But then, in the middle of building the fly up still, the spider just straight up grabs him, talks a little, and then just drops him off a building….. Are we serious?? That’s it, the flys whole arc/build up whatever you wanna call it, it’s just thrown away completely in like 2 seconds! And then after the assistant becomes the villain, but then she hires another villain, both of them die in like 2 seconds as well! It was very frustrating to read this volume, especially since the first 2 were so good. NOW, the only reason why I have this a 3 star and not a 1, is because the one shot issue at the very end is pretty sick. The art is top notch.

A Great Fianl Volume
So this one like the first one was full of action and gripping story definitely a great read I'd recommend this one.
