The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) conducted a health hazard evaluation at Positrol Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company submitted the request because several employees had reported methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) skin infections, and management wanted to determine if these infections were related to workplace exposures.
