This book does a really nice job of making the issue for health care a little more understandable and a little less confusing. The book is broken up into 4 parts 1. How the Affordable Care Act Affects you 2. How to Select the Right Healthcare Plan 3. Using your Health Insurance Benefits Wisely 4. Controlling Your Healthcare Costs
I have health benefits through work but I wanted a basic understanding of what the ACA entailed and this book does a really nice job of explaining it. It also helped me to understand what essential things are mandated coverage in health plans now, something you never really had explained to you. The book is written in a Q&A style, and in doing this it keeps you realize questions you didn't know you wanted to ask, but are glad to find answered. I am a note taker when reading a book like this and found it really nice that within the text websites etc. were listed with more information. What really surprised me is at the end of the book there is a bullet list of the important topics and websites mentioned throughout the book. Not just a mile long list of references to muddle through. If nothing else if time is limited you can get a really quick summary with this list of online references to explore.
So I think this is a book that anyone will find useful information within, written in an easy to understand manor.
