Nine-year-old Girl Nora wants, more than anything, to protect her perfectly created world. In order to do so she will find herself within eternal struggle between two worlds - spiritual and material.

Like spider web intertwined with invisible strings, these two worlds are connected tightly, even though the bond appears to be delicate.

In fear of losing all friends living in her world, Nora has to bear with everyday tests that even a grown-up could not handle it.

On the other hand she defies to all difficulties filled with enthusiasm taking matters into her own hands, thus creating a world interlaced with fear, love and disappointment.

One encounter will change her views on everything she had ever believed in and kept hidden in TURTLE SHELL.

I love to read good and unique stories with some deeper meaning and powerful message and this book is definitely one of them. It is an interesting story about nine-year-old girl Nora and her journey between material and spiritual worlds. I love the way how a little girl finds an escape out of her "real" life.

The story is well written, easy to read, interesting, entertaining and also inspiring.
Overall, it is a great read that I recommend it everybody !!!!

Do it right, or don't do it. Sue Jones did it right.

This an amazing book. It's a type of journal by a young girl who feels she is different. She creates her own 'hiding place'. In her own place she shares her ideas on being loved by her family, making friends, facing fears, and dealing with problems that arise when plans don't work. Her place comes into question when she encounters a very special person. I recommend this to all young readers.
