As Lil’ Edwyn and Birdie get an introduction to mother’s massive collection of dolls, big Edwyn continues bagging and tagging heads…during non-working hours, of course.
So this day started off with Deadpool and Wolverine (it's running to make a billion dollars and breaking records for a reason), got everything I needed to clean cleaned, my Art of the Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1 came in from a used bookseller earlier than expected (but I'm babysitting a summer house/plants so I have to pick it up tomorrow), and now I'm chilling out. I didn't think the day could get better is what I'm saying.
It was a perfect day. And I was like welp, I'll read the first two issues of this comic while I wait for issue three.
And my day got better. So I just can't lose today. It's a quick read, no clunky dialogue or exposition. Which isn't to say there isn't any of those two, it's just not clunky. It's fun, simple, easy to read and this is just as twisted delicious as the first Plastic.
I'm still mad I missed Vinyl and Plush but I will read those soon enough. That being said, the art in this is just as twisted and delicious as the rest, with the same seemingly simple style that hides layers behind it.
